\nThe Key Purpose of this role is to Co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and monitored team goals
\nMaintain machines & repairs breakdowns
\nSupport and coaching team members, SKAP Assessments to team members
\nEnforce and maintain safe work areas
\nDelegate and monitor work activities
\nManage continuous improvement projects
\nSolve situational problems
\nConduct audits
\nManage personal development and performance.
\nPrepares the ZBB\/VIC Maintenance budget
\nIdentifies CAPEX UPP opportunities that need to be addressed
\n\u00a0Develops artisans and machine specialist. Ensure that development plan is in place.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Maintain a safe and healthy working environment<\/p>\n
Implement and comply with safety, health and environmental legislation procedures.
\nMaintain safety and 5S Standards
\nIdentification and closure of unsafe practices through SIO\u2019s
\nSafety inspections conducted
\nSafe maintenance practices audited
\nAdherence to PPE policies
\nMaintenance tools are in good working order<\/p>\n
Plant reliability <\/p>\n
\u00a0Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation \/ systems
\nPlan and prepare the job

Machine Specialist (Mechanical)
\nFTC or Diploma in Mechanical engineering
\nBSc in Mechanical Engineering.
