\nWe are looking for a dedicated and professional HR Coordinator for our Geita site who has the following skills and experience.
\nHR Coordinator
\nThe HR Coordinator for undertaking all relevant HR duties at site level under the supervision of the Country HR Coordinator including hiring, termination, assisting the Project Manager in managing matters connected to staff performance and discipline at the workplace, ensuring timely payroll inputs are sent to payroll office for processing, ensuring onboarding and offboarding is properly done, expat permits, and visa requirements are met, statutory contributions are done timely, staff wellness including life and medical insurance are in place. The incumbent may be called upon to perform any other duties, for which he\/she is deemed competent, as required, or as instructed.
\nLocation:Geita Site, Tanzania.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Responsible for all HR functions at site level.
\nMaintain and manage site staff files records and ensuring that the files are kept up to date and filed in accordance with HR administration procedure.
\nEnsure timesheets are properly done and timely sent to payroll office for processing.
\nMonitor staff attendance and facilitate leave applications\/forms as per approved leave procedures.
\nAssist in site management of staff discipline, performance, and other related matters.
\nEnsure that all recruitment procedures are done in accordance with company policies and procedures.
\nEnsure that all procedures for handling misconduct, retrenchment are adhered to.
\nResponsible for managing staff terminations in accordance with Labour laws and company procedures.
\nFollow all HSE protocols.
\nAct in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment.
\nCommunicate HR related issues to the management.
\nPerform other duties as required by management.
\nMake sure the company is 100% compliant with existing policies and national laws.
\nAssist in adherence staff welfare including medical and life insurance, entry, periodic and exit medical checks, attend employee committees or workplace forums to respond to employee needs.
\nAt all times, he\/she should make sure that proper communication is maintained across the site when required.
\nEnsure that all travel and accommodation arrangements are managed cost effectively, professionally and efficiently and communicated to the traveller (and\/or respective parties) at least 72 hours prior to their departure.
\nConduct & co-ordinate new employee induction
\nAssist in work\/residence permit applications for expats.
\nOther duties as directed<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS
\nKnowledge & Skills Required:<\/p>\n
Familiarity with Tanzania Labour Laws is highly recommended
\nExcellent English and Swahili language skills, both written and verbal
\nOutstanding organisational skills
\nExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
\nMS Office proficiency
\nStrong communication skills<\/p>\n
Training & Education Required:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field<\/p>\n
Experience Required:<\/p>\n
Proven work experience in HR related role within the drilling \/ mining industry will be an added advantage
\nMinimum of 3-5 years\u2019 experience required
\nExperience working in multinational and culturally diverse environments<\/p>\n
Physical Requirements:
\nMust be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job
