The Assistant Field Officer will work in collaboration with the existing team within the clinical research platform of Heart and Lung Clinic, CDCI, Emergency department, and IMC-SFRH in the implementation of the CARECHAIN \u2013 NCD project in Kilombero valley and Bagamoyo District. This position is open for internal applicants, if you feel you meet the required criterial of this role you are encouraged to apply.<br \/>\nResponsibility:<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\nProvide health education to individual patient, group of people, in mass media and during community outreach events.<br \/>\nParticipate in quantitative and qualitative data collection in studies conducted at Heart and Lung Clinic.<br \/>\nTracking of patients who do not come for their follow up visit in collaboration with the community health workers.<br \/>\nBe ready to work on any other relevant duties allocated by the project principal investigator\/ project leader.<br \/>\nProvide health education and counselling services to patients with Non-communicable diseases at the different facilities in Kilombero valley and Bagamoyo District.<br \/>\nSkill :<br \/>\nDesired Skills<br \/>\nInterest in doing both clinical and research work.<br \/>\nExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.<br \/>\nCapable of building and sustaining relationships with colleagues<br \/>\nResult oriented<br \/>\nProfessional attitude to work and clear work ethics<br \/>\nQualification Required:<br \/>\nEssential Qualifications<br \/>\nHolder of Diploma in community development, social work or any other related field with experience in quantitative data collection.<br \/>\nCompetent and certified on good clinical practice (GCP).<br \/>\nExperience :<br \/>\nRequired Experience<br \/>\nMinimum of 1-year experience in providing health education and counseling to patients with Non-communicable diseases<br \/>\nPreferred Language Skill :<br \/>\nPrefered Language<br \/>\nFluent in both Swahili and English.<br \/>\nJob Opening date : 30-Jan-2026<br \/>\nJob closing date : 12-Feb-2<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
