Vehicle and Driver Management<\/p>\n
Manage and coordinate company drivers and vehicles efficiently
\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, and work discipline<\/p>\n
Transport Scheduling<\/p>\n
Plan and manage daily transport schedules
\nPlan routes, coordinate vehicle dispatch, and track trips<\/p>\n
Fuel and Vehicle Maintenance Management<\/p>\n
Monitor fuel consumption and control operational costs
\nManage preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
\nCollaborate with mechanics and maintenance service providers<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Requirements
\nEducation:<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:<\/p>\n
Transport and Logistics Management
\nSupply Chain Management
\nBusiness Administration
\nMechanical Engineering<\/p>\n
Additional Training:<\/p>\n
Certificate from recognized institutions such as NIT or VETA is an added advantage, especially in vehicle maintenance<\/p>\n
Work Experience:<\/p>\n
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in transport-related roles or vehicle management<\/p>\n
Professional Knowledge:<\/p>\n
Experience in monitoring fuel usage
\nUnderstanding of preventive maintenance
\nAbility to plan routes and improve transport efficiency<\/p>\n
Technical Skills:<\/p>\n
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
\nExperience using vehicle management systems or GPS Tracking Systems (e.g., Geotab, SAP)<\/p>\n
Soft Skills:<\/p>\n
Strong leadership and people management abilities
\nGood communication and negotiation skills with service providers
\nAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
Additional Requirements<\/p>\n
Must have a valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
