In order to strengthen our administrative team, we are currently looking for a pro-active and competent Tanzanian professional in order to fill the position of a Premises and Procurement Manager
\nJob Description \/ Responsibility
\nProcurement and purchases of fixed assets and services for the office<\/p>\n
Coordinating the administrative process with external parties (contractor, consultants) for repair and maintenance of premises
\nSupport the Head of Administration in coordinating contracts for construction projects and major maintenance work
\nResponsible for procurement of locally available goods and services related to office premises (e.g., gardening company, cleaning agents)
\nManage utility services and payments for the Embassy, Residence and staff accommodations
\nContact person for suppliers and contractors<\/p>\n
Property, building and facility management<\/p>\n
Supervise, coordinate and control maintenance and repairs of buildings, office furniture and equipment
\nEnsure disposal or sales of fixed assets
\nSupervise and verify services by internal staff and 3rd party suppliers
\nMaintain the fixed asset inventory in accordance with FDFA rules and regulations<\/p>\n
Personnel<\/p>\n
Coach and supervise the staff
\nSupport and guide team members
\nCarry out (semi) annual performance assessment of subordinates<\/p>\n
Substitute to logistic, IT and security officer<\/p>\n
Ensure transparent purchase of fuel and liaison with fuel suppliers
\nEnsure the proper maintenance of the vehicle logbooks
\nMaintain the vehicle tracking system<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nEducation<\/p>\n
Bachelor Degree\/Diploma in Business Administration from recognized institution in a related field
\nVery strong communication skills in English \/Kiswahili
\nKnowledge of French and \/or German language is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Work experience<\/p>\n
Minimum 5 years working experience thereof a minimum of 2 years in a similar position
\nExperience with an international employer or foreign mission is a must
\nExperience in interaction with the Government of Tanzania, including on protocol issues is an added advantage<\/p>\n
Excellent IT skills, well versed in working with Ms Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
\nExcellent communication and typing skills (English and Swahili)
\nVery good organization skills; through knowledge of modern office procedures and practices
\nAnalytical skills and able to meet deadlines while remaining organized and accurate
\nReadiness to acquire new knowledge and skills
\nA flair for technical issues
\nCustomer Orientation with creativity\/innovative capacity
\nAbility to work in a multicultural team<\/p>\n
