\nPurpose of the Role
\nThe Relationship Manager Corporate is responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate clients, focusing on both assets (loans) and liabilities (deposits). This role involves advising on business strategy, overseeing credit risk, and providing leadership to Relationship Officers. The goal is to ensure business growth, maintain high service standards, and meet clients\u2019 financial needs.
\nSummary of Key Duties and Responsibilities
\nClient Relationship Management:<\/p>\n
Develop and manage strong, long-term corporate client relationships.
\nUnderstand clients\u2019 financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
\nMaintain proactive engagement with clients to identify new business opportunities.<\/p>\n
Revenue Generation:<\/p>\n
Drive growth in assets (loans) and liabilities (deposits).
\nWork with the sales team to generate new client acquisitions and cross-sell products.<\/p>\n
Risk Management:<\/p>\n
Oversee credit risk for assigned portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations.
\nConduct KYC reviews and risk assessments during client onboarding.<\/p>\n
Client Service & Support:<\/p>\n
Ensure timely response to client inquiries and service requests.
\nCollaborate with Relationship Officers to improve service offerings and revenue generation.<\/p>\n
Business Development & Strategy:<\/p>\n
Prepare business development strategies and presentations for senior management.
\nIdentify new market opportunities and contribute to strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n
Operational Excellence:<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to banking policies in operations, including cash handling and account management.<\/p>\n
Monitor portfolio performance to ensure compliance with risk criteria.
\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
\n3 to 5 year\u2019s experience in Corporate Banking.<\/p>\n
Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n
Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, financial markets, and banking regulations.
\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
\nAbility to manage client relationships and drive business growth.
\nFocused on delivering value and maintaining long-term relationships.
\nAble to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
\nStrong organizational skills with a focus on risk management and compliance.
\nHigh ethical standards and commitment to providing quality service.<\/p>\n
