Lead Mural Artist & Community Arts Facilitator
\nProject Zawadi is seeking a Tanzanian artist to lead a collaborative mural project at our office in Nyamuswa, Mara Region.
\nThis mural will be created together with selected students, teachers, and staff and will reflect our shared commitment to education, local leadership, and community development.
\nAbout the Project<\/p>\n
Location: Interior conference room wall at Project Zawadi office (Nyamuswa)
\nTimeline: Planning starts March 15. Painting starts shortly after (exact dates to be agreed)
\nFormat: Guided, collaborative mural with student participation
\nDocumentation: The process will be professionally filmed and photographed<\/p>\n
We Are Looking For an Artist Who:<\/p>\n
Has experience with murals or large-scale artwork
\nHas experience working with children or youth
\nCommunicates well in Swahili
\nIs patient, collaborative, and community-oriented
\nIs comfortable teaching and guiding students
\nHas a portfolio of previous work<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Work with students and staff to develop the concept
\nCreate 1\u20132 design proposals
\nLead and supervise the painting process
\nEncourage participation and learning
\nHelp create a respectful and positive creative environment<\/p>\n
