\nWe\u2019re actively seeking talented individuals for the following roles:
\n1. Senior Mechanic reporting to the Workshop Manager (x10)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, you are expected to:<\/p>\n
Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on technical equipment and systems
\nLead and mentor junior technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship
\nCoordinate preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal downtime
\nLiaise with Lead preparation supervisors, and clients to resolve technical issues efficiently
\nManage accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
\nEnsure that the Unit is adequately staffed to achieve objectives, machine availability of our fleet
\nEnsure technicians daily workflow\/services\/maintenance for equipment is well co-ordinated
\nMaintain good relationships with both internal and external customers in the service workshop
\nImplement SHERQ standards in the workshop<\/p>\n
If you have the following:<\/p>\n
Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a similar role
\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
\nStrong knowledge of CNC machine operation and problem-solving skills is an added advantage
\nStrong attention to detail and teamwork skills<\/p>\n
2. Junior Mechanic reporting to the Field Services Manager (x5)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, you are expected to:<\/p>\n
Maintaining and repairing all types of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
\nRepairing and inspecting all mechanical machinery as per schedule and instruction from supervisor
\nEnsuring that policies and procedures are applied as per FES standards
\nAchieving team and individual goals that are set out in accordance with the FES standards
\nConduct troubleshoot inspections and repairs under supervision
\nMaintain accurate records of work completed
\nSupport senior technicians and engineers as required
\nAdhering to all health and safety regulations<\/p>\n
If you have the following:<\/p>\n
Minimum Diploma\/Degree in Mechanical Engineering\/Agricultural\/diesel Machinery mechanic trade
\nMinimum of two (2) years of experience
\nAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure
\nBasic understanding of tools and follow instructions
\nGood communication and problem-solving skills
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n
3. Workshop Apprentice reporting to the Workshop Manager (x5) Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant is expected to:<\/p>\n
Assist with basic workshop tasks such as tool handling, equipment maintenance, and cleaning
\nLearn safety guidelines and report any hazards
\nAttend training sessions and participate actively in learning opportunities
\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace<\/p>\n
Interested Tanzanian citizens should meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
Aged between 18 and 25 years
\nForm IV or VI certificate\/technical or mechanical training is an added advantage
\nWillingness to learn and follow instructions
\nGood communication and teamwork skills<\/p>\n
4. Tyre Fitter reporting to the Workshop Manager (x4)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant will be expected to:<\/p>\n
Fit and balance tyres on cars, trucks, and other vehicles
\nInspect tyres for wear and damage
\nRepair punctures and conduct routine maintenance
\nOperate tyre-fitting machines and wheel balancers
\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should have:<\/p>\n
At least 2 years of proven customer service experience and advice in a similar automotive role
\nBasic mechanical or automotive training (VETA certification or equivalent) is an added advantage
\nKnowledge of tyre types, sizes, and repair techniques
\nAbility to work independently, in teams
\nPhysically fit and able to handle heavy equipment
\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures<\/p>\n
5. Auto Electrician reporting to the Workshop Manager (x3)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant is expected to:<\/p>\n
Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and schematics
\nRepair and replace faulty wiring and electronic components
\nInstall and maintain vehicle security and communication systems
\nEnsure all electrical repairs meet safety and quality standards
\nKeep accurate records of repairs<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
Diploma or Certificate in Auto Electrical Engineering or a related technical field from a recognized institution
\nMinimum 3 years of practical experience as an Auto Electrician
\nGood understanding of vehicle electronics in rural or remote areas
\nValid driving license is an added advantage<\/p>\n
6. Machinist reporting to the Workshop Manager (x1)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant will be expected to:<\/p>\n
Review samples, drawings and mark materials for cutting or shaping
\nTake measurements and instructions to understand specifications of output
\nPlan the sequence of machines (e.g., lathes) actions for the completion of a job
\nProvide appropriate customer (e.g., position x load material) for a job<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience
\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
\nStrong attention to detail<\/p>\n
7. Workshop Administration Officer reporting to the Workshop Manager (x1)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant will be expected to:<\/p>\n
Manage daily workshop administrative tasks including job cards, time sheets, and inventory records
\nMaintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and service history
\nCoordinate procurement of tools, parts, and internal department supplies to ensure smooth operations
\nLiaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments
\nTrack and monitor workflow, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
\nAt least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or workshop support role
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
\nExperience working with inventory or workshop management software is an added advantage<\/p>\n
8. Challenger Operators reporting to the Operations Manager (x15) Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant is expected to:<\/p>\n
Operate routine Challengers tractors and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
\nPerform routine inspections and basic maintenance of machinery
\nAssist with land clearing, haulage, and other site preparation tasks
\nComplete operational logs, haulage, and equipment checklists accurately<\/p>\n
Interested applicants should meet the following minimum criteria:<\/p>\n
Proven experience operating Challenger equipment or similar heavy-duty tractors
\nValid equipment operation certification or license
\nMinimum 2 years\u2019 experience in mining, agricultural, or construction setting
\nStrong understanding of basic troubleshooting
\nPhysically fit and willing to work in remote areas under minimal supervision<\/p>\n
9. Tractor Operators reporting to the Operations Manager (x43)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, you are expected to:<\/p>\n
Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of Tractors
\nOperating Tractors safely and efficiently
\nPerforming inspections of Tractors and attachments like graders, rollers, and others
\nUsing Tractors to transport materials and pull or push prepared equipment
\nOperating Tractors with laser levelling equipment to prepare fields
\nReporting any faults or concerns to the Land Clearing supervisor and other relevant stakeholders
\nRemaining alert while driving and servicing the tractor, always maintaining the appropriate speed limit on tractor and farm equipment<\/p>\n
If you have the following:<\/p>\n
Valid driving license with class G (for tractors) endorsement
\nAt least 2 years of experience operating agricultural machinery
\nBasic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage
\nPhysically fit and able to work in remote environments<\/p>\n
10. Sugar Harvester Operator reporting to the Operations Manager (x7)\u00a0Among other responsibilities, the successful applicant is expected to:<\/p>\n
Operate sugarcane harvesting machinery (mechanical harvester) efficiently and safely
\nConduct pre-operational checks and regular maintenance of harvesting equipment
\nEnsure accurate and scheduled harvesting and field work to minimize losses and maintain quality
\nIdentify mechanical operational faults and report or assist with basic repairs
\nWork closely with team members and supervisors to achieve harvesting targets<\/p>\n
If you have the following:<\/p>\n
Minimum Form IV education (Certificate of Secondary Education)
\nVocational training or certification in agricultural machinery operation is an advantage
\nAt least 2 years of experience operating agricultural machinery (e.g., Case, John Deere)
\nBasic knowledge of mechanical sugarcane maintenance harvesters
\nAbility to work long hours in field conditions
\nTeamwork and good communication skills<\/p>\n
