This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and servicing of PFMS equipment at merchant sites to ensure high system availability, service quality, and compliance with defined SLAs. The role provides timely technical support, implements preventative maintenance strategies, and strengthens customer relationships through proactive on-site engagement.<br \/>\nThe ideal candidate brings hands-on field service experience, strong technical problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to identify service-driven commercial opportunities, deliver reliable technical solutions, and contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth through disciplined execution and accurate reporting.<br \/>\nWhat Success Looks Like at Pesapal<\/p>\n<p>1. Own Our Outcomes:<\/p>\n<p>Takes ownership of service delivery, technical decisions, and reporting accuracy.<br \/>\nIdentifies improvement opportunities and acts proactively to close performance gaps.<br \/>\nDemonstrates resilience and professionalism while working independently or under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<br \/>\nPFMS Deployment, Maintenance &amp; Service Delivery Management<\/p>\n<p>Supervise the installation, configuration, and commissioning of PFMS at merchant sites.<br \/>\nPrepare proposals for maintenance works and support basic commercial documentation.<br \/>\nSupervise and evaluate installation and maintenance works, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.<br \/>\nMonitor installation and maintenance activities to ensure adherence to approved budgets.<br \/>\nParticipate in subcontractor training and ensure subcontractor complies with stipulated procedures.<br \/>\nConduct analytical downtime investigations and implement technical solutions to close identified gaps.<br \/>\nPrepare maintenance and service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.<br \/>\nMaintain and update the PFMS asset register, including installations, transfers, and write-off recommendations.<br \/>\nParticipate in inspections of maintenance works and projects, site due diligence, and site handovers.<br \/>\nConduct testing and verification of PFMS equipment post-installation and after major maintenance activities.<br \/>\nEnsure service delivery meets defined quality standards, SLAs, and budget requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Relationship Management<\/p>\n<p>Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and customers.<br \/>\nSupporting customers through technical and administrative activities.<br \/>\nUnderstanding customer needs, concerns and operational challenges.<br \/>\nIdentify and communicate customer service needs and improvement opportunities to Account Managers and relevant internal teams.<br \/>\nSupport customer retention by recommending appropriate PFMS solutions based on observed needs.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting<\/p>\n<p>Prepare accurate and timely service and maintenance reports.<br \/>\nEnsure reports support operational and commercial decision-making.<br \/>\nTrack and update operational and performance data related to installations, maintenance, and service activities.<\/p>\n<p>Must-Have Job Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field<br \/>\nMinimum of 3 years experience in field service management or a similar technical role<br \/>\nExperience in PFMS installation, maintenance, and technical support<br \/>\nAbility to document technical work clearly through service reports and proposals<br \/>\nCommercial awareness with the ability to identify service-driven revenue opportunities.<br \/>\nStrong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of PFMS functions including customer onboarding, beneficiary registration, account seeding, transaction processing, MIS, and reporting<br \/>\nProficiency in MS Office<br \/>\nFluency in written and spoken English<\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes:<\/p>\n<p>Strong focus on service excellence, customer satisfaction, and relationship building.<br \/>\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.<br \/>\nDetail-oriented and solutions-driven, adaptable, and able to perform effectively under pressure<\/p>\n<p>Why Join Us?<br \/>\nInnovative Environment:\u00a0Opportunity to work on cutting-edge financial technology products and services<br \/>\nProfessional Growth: Access to opportunities for skill development, training, and career advancement.
