We are seeking a skilled and experienced\u00a0Banquet Manager (Local Position)\u00a0to lead and oversee all banquet operations at Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam. This role is open to\u00a0qualified local Tanzanian candidates\u00a0who have strong experience in hospitality and event operations.
\nThe ideal candidate will ensure smooth event execution, high guest satisfaction, and effective team leadership while upholding Hyatt brand values. This includes coordinating with internal departments, supervising daily operations, and maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest care.
\nThe Banquet Manager must be a hands\u2011on leader with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast\u2011paced environment. A strong understanding of local market expectations, cultural nuances, and operational requirements within Tanzania is essential.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in banquet operations, ideally in a 4\u2011 or 5\u2011star hotel.
\nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
\nAbility to manage multiple events in a fast\u2011paced environment.
\nExcellent guest\u2011service approach and problem\u2011solving skills.
\nKnowledge of food safety and hospitality service standards.
\nFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.<\/p>\n
