\nPosition:\u00a0Senior Earthworks Supervisor (1 position)
\nReports to:\u00a0Earthworks Manager
\nContract Duration:\u00a0Six (6) Months
\nThe Senior Earthworks Supervisor is responsible and accountable for providing leadership, supervision and project management in all phases of structural, earthworks and road construction for Nyanzaga project. Senior Earthworks Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating all key elements of projects in a safe and profitable manner.
\nThe supervisor will oversee earthworks: labour, contractors, equipment and materials and subcontractors.
\nThe supervisor will oversee earthmoving equipment, ensuring strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and alignment with the company\u2019s TICA values.
\nRoles and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Adhere to and promote safety, environmental, health, and community policies.
\nConduct daily and weekly safety assessments (Field Level Risk Assessments, Job Hazard Analyses, and Toolbox meetings).
\nSupervise earthworks teams and ensure adherence to the Company Code of Conduct, standards, and procedures.
\nEffectively allocate labour, equipment, materials and subcontractors to maximize safety and profitability and to minimize costs and Deficiencies.
\nCommunicate scope of work requirements to foremen, review production, quality and contract compliance and ensure implementation within the budget.<\/p>\n
Qualification\/Experience<\/p>\n
Technician Degree\/Diploma in Civil Engineering
\nTSF construction experience
\nMinimum 15 years\u2019 experience in similar roles, 10 years\u2019 experience in mining industry in Tanzania
\nDriver\u2019s license (LV and preferably HME)<\/p>\n
