\nPassenger Service Agents (20 positions)\u00a0
\nDuty Station:\u00a0Dar es Salaam
\nReports to:\u00a0Passenger Service Coordinator
\nContract type:\u00a0Fixed term contract.
\nJob Summary\u00a0
\nTo deliver professional passenger handling services in compliance with airline, airport, and regulatory\u00a0 requirements.
\nResponsibilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Inspect and verify passenger documentation
\nIssue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations
\n\u00a0Manage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation if applicable
\n\u00a0Assist passengers as needed through arrival and check in processes including support for passengers with\u00a0 \u00a0special needs such as unaccompanied minors (UM), VIP passengers and passengers needing wheelchair\u00a0 assistance<\/p>\n
Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, as required
\nMake public address announcements as required
\nAssist Ramp Service Agents to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers and gate checked bags (cleared through\u00a0 security) are made available for loading upon departure and delivery to passengers upon arrival
\n\u00a0Comply with all airport authority and carrier security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies
\n\u00a0Operate equipment to include the jet way, computer keyboards, and carrier specific reservation\/ ticketing\u00a0 software
\nProduce all required, work-related documentation
\nOther duties as assigned<\/p>\n
Qualification and Competencies\u00a0
\nSelf-driven and dynamic individual who is also a team player and able to work under pressure and possess the\u00a0 following qualifications and skills:<\/p>\n
Diploma or bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
\n\u00a0Experience in customer service (aviation preferred)
\nStrong communication skills (English and Swahili)
\nAbility to work shifts, including nights and holidays
\nHigh safety awareness<\/p>\n
