\nEducational & Experience Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in law (LL.B) and a registered Advocate of the High Court.
\n2+ years\u2019 experience in mobile money, fintech or related industries.<\/p>\n
Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to protect company interests.
\nEnsure all company contracts with partners, suppliers, and customers are valid and compliant.
\nRepresent the company in legal matters, safeguarding its best interests and reputation.
\nIdentify, assess, and manage legal risks related to mobile financial and related business operations.
\nProvide timely legal advice and support to all departments.
\nEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards in daily operations.
\nMonitor, interpret, and communicate new or amended legislation affecting company activities.
\nAlign company policies and procedures with AXIAN Group standards and legal requirements.
\nMaintain and update the company\u2019s legal register and ensure proper archiving of legal documents, including filings with the Registrar of Companies.
\nSupport organizing and managing Board, Shareholders\u2019, and Shariah Supervisory Board meetings and related documentation.
\nPrepare and update statutory registers, Board calendars, and company records in line with corporate governance principles.<\/p>\n
