\nBasic Purpose
\nWork closely with the bank\u2019s branches and business units to promote, grow, and cross-sell treasury products. Deliver tailored treasury solutions to clients, meeting their forex, hedging, and investment needs while increasing the bank\u2019s share of wallet and achieving assigned revenue generation targets.
\nMain Duties and Responsibilities
\nBusiness Development and Client Growth<\/p>\n
Develop a strong, loyal core SME customer base by building relationships with key decision-makers to grow business in line with set budgets and better understand customer needs.
\nActively follow up with internal counterparts in lending (credit) and Transaction Banking (SME) units on FX-related client requirements.
\nMarket defined treasury product offerings (e.g., Spot, Forward, and Swaps) to clients to boost business turnover and profitability.
\nStrengthen SME customer penetration in foreign exchange and treasury products.
\nMaintain high standards of customer service to increase market share with existing clients and expand the customer base.
\nGrow the SME business franchise and contribute to the bank\u2019s funding process by engaging customers interested in placing deposits to build liability clientele.
\nRoll out and enhance e-channels for treasury products; migrate existing customers to the EazzyFX platform.
\nServe as the primary point of contact for treasury solutions servicing SME clients.<\/p>\n
Market Awareness and Deal Execution<\/p>\n
Stay updated on the latest market developments, competitor tactics, and market intelligence.
\nTrack competitor products and marketing initiatives in the market.
\nConclude FX deals (currency sale or purchase) with clients via recorded phone and email.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Performance<\/p>\n
Provide weekly reports on client growth, volume, and profitability within your portfolio.<\/p>\n
Customer Service<\/p>\n
Handle customer-related queries promptly and ensure complete satisfaction.
\nUphold a professional service approach to enhance the bank\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n
Compliance and Risk Management<\/p>\n
Adhere to all control requirements in line with Bank, Group, and Regulatory policies.
\nMaintain full awareness of policies and procedures related to money laundering prevention and KYC.
\nUnderstand and comply with policies on operational risk, market risk, reputational risk, and sales processes.
\nRead, understand, and comply with all provisions of the ACI Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n
Other Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Train and mentor other dealers and bank staff on foreign exchange, money market, and fixed income products to build team knowledge.
\nDeputize the SME Sales Manager when required.
\nTake on additional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor or the Bank based on business needs.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
\nACI Dealing Certificate (mandatory).
\nMaster\u2019s degree (added advantage).
\nAt least 4 years of relevant working experience.<\/p>\n
Key Skills<\/p>\n
Strong understanding of treasury environment policies, procedures, and ethical requirements.
\nKnowledge of interest rate risk management (including structural and behavioral analysis).
\nKnowledge of liquidity and funding risk management.
\nKnowledge of capital risk management.
\nSolid grasp of financial markets and economic fundamentals.
\nFamiliarity with treasury, retail, corporate, and capital market products.
\nProficiency in Excel.
\nExcellent communication skills.<\/p>\n
