\nDiamond Trust Bank is recruiting for two\u00a0Senior Bancassurance Officer\u00a0positions to strengthen its bancassurance team in Tanzania.
\n1. Senior Bancassurance Officer (Insurance Premium Financing)
\nJob Purpose\u00a0Responsible for structuring, originating, executing, and managing insurance premium financing (IPF) solutions for corporate, individual, and SME clients. You\u2019ll work closely with Corporate Relationship Managers, Credit, Risk, and Insurance Partners to grow fee income, deepen relationships, and increase insurance penetration through financing solutions.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities
\nBusiness Development & Revenue Growth<\/p>\n
Identify eligible corporate and SME clients for insurance premium financing together with Relationship Managers.
\nStructure competitive IPF proposals that match client cash-flow cycles and comply with bank credit policies.<\/p>\n
Credit and Risk Management<\/p>\n
Collaborate with the Credit Department to carry out proper risk assessment of financed premiums.
\nEnsure financing meets collateral, guarantee, or security requirements where needed.<\/p>\n
Operations and Partnerships<\/p>\n
Coordinate with insurers and brokers to confirm policy issuance before releasing financing.<\/p>\n
Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting<\/p>\n
Maintain an up-to-date IPF portfolio tracker (exposure, sector concentration, repayment status).<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Insurance and Risk Management, Banking, Risk, Finance, or related field.
\nProfessional insurance qualification (CII) is an added advantage.
\n2\u20134 years\u2019 experience in bancassurance or corporate insurance sales.<\/p>\n

2. Senior Bancassurance Officer (Corporate)
\nJob Purpose\u00a0Integrate insurance solutions into the corporate banking segment by working closely with Corporate Relationship Managers to deliver comprehensive insurance products that protect both corporate clients and their businesses.
\nKey Duties and Responsibilities
\nBusiness Development & Revenue Growth<\/p>\n
Identify, acquire, and manage corporate clients to increase uptake of insurance products.
\nDevelop and execute sales strategies to meet annual premium and commission targets.<\/p>\n
Client Relationship Management<\/p>\n
Deliver end-to-end client support with excellent service standards.
\nCarry out regular relationship reviews with key corporate accounts.
\nEnsure timely renewal of all corporate insurance policies.<\/p>\n
Operational Excellence<\/p>\n
Handle accurate documentation, policy issuance, endorsements, and timely invoicing.
\nFollow up on premium payments and ensure correct booking per bancassurance procedures.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Performance Monitoring<\/p>\n
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
\nTrack results against budget and flag any shortfalls early.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Insurance and Risk Management, Banking, Risk, Finance, or related field.
