{"id":3329,"date":"2026-03-04T12:02:19","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T12:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/head-of-digital-financial-services-at-kcb-bank\/"},"modified":"2026-03-04T12:02:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T12:02:23","slug":"head-of-digital-financial-services-at-kcb-bank","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/head-of-digital-financial-services-at-kcb-bank\/","title":{"rendered":"Head of Digital Financial Services at KCB Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<br \/>\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nStrategic Leadership<br \/>\nDevelop and execute the bank\u2019s Digital Financial Services strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives.<br \/>\nLead digital transformation initiatives across channels including mobile banking, internet banking, agency banking, cards, and emerging platforms.<br \/>\nIdentify new digital business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.<br \/>\nDrive innovation to maintain competitive advantage and market leadership.<br \/>\nChampion a customer-centric digital culture across the bank.<br \/>\nGovernance and Risk Management<br \/>\nEnsure there is a robust governance framework for all digital services.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.<br \/>\nOversee digital risk management including cyber security, fraud prevention, data protection, and operational resilience.<br \/>\nEnsure effective controls across digital operations and third-party relationships.<br \/>\nProduct Development and Innovation<br \/>\nLead end-to-end lifecycle management of digital products and services.<br \/>\nOversee design, development, testing, launch, and continuous improvement of digital solutions.<br \/>\nDrive adoption of emerging technologies such as fintech integrations, APIs, artificial intelligence, and digital payments.<br \/>\nEnsure products meet customer needs, usability standards, and commercial objectives.<br \/>\nBusiness Growth and Performance<br \/>\nDeliver growth in digital transactions, customers, revenues, and market share.<br \/>\nEstablish KPIs and performance dashboards for digital services and products.<br \/>\nMonitor profitability and return on investment of digital initiatives.<br \/>\nBuild and manage strategic partnerships with telecoms, fintechs, payment networks, and technology providers.<br \/>\nLead negotiations and commercial arrangements with partners.<br \/>\nExpand the Bank\u2019s digital ecosystem to support payments, lending, savings, and lifestyle services.<br \/>\nManage and drive business delivery across all delivery channels (ATM, Internet banking, mobile banking, merchant acquiring, E commerce, cards, Money transfer services, etc.) to achieve business targets.<br \/>\nCustomer Experience and Service Excellence<br \/>\nEnsure seamless, secure, and reliable digital customer journeys.<br \/>\nOversee service availability, uptime, and incident management.<br \/>\nUse data and analytics to improve customer engagement and personalization.<br \/>\nAddress customer complaints and service gaps related to digital channels.<br \/>\nCarry out competitor\u2019s survey to guide development of pricing strategies, product development and customer service programs.<br \/>\nTeam Leadership and Capability Building<br \/>\nBuild, lead, and motivate a high-performing multidisciplinary digital team.<br \/>\nDevelop talent, succession plans, and specialist skills in digital banking.<br \/>\nPromote collaboration across business units, IT, risk, and operations.<br \/>\nDrive digital financial service products for the bank.<br \/>\nCoordinate and drive new sales and product penetration across branch network (Sales Stimulation).<br \/>\nFacilitate product development and drive utilization of the same in order to achieve business targets.<br \/>\nDAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nResponsible for supervising growth of digital financial services<br \/>\nResponsible for managing customer recruitment and activation of customer in the channels banking<br \/>\nManaging and guide digital financial services team on handling issues and supporting customers<br \/>\nTo ensure quality service to Customers and managing Customer complains is done in a professional and within minimum time.<br \/>\nManage and supervising digital financial services projects to ensure are delivered and complied with procedures and policy.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br \/>\nAcademic &amp;
