Job Function:
\nCarry out electrical maintenance and repairs of all cranes, UPS, WB and substation, and other equipment based on maintaining standards as laid down by the business unit for both safety and reliability.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
\nDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
\nInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to inform his supervisor regarding any hazards in the equipment.
\nUse electrical devices (Voltmeter, Ohmmeters, other devices) to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
\nAnalyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
\nConnect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
\nContribute to achieving the company targets by following QHSE rules and regulations for operating and maintenance procedures related to job activities.
\nReport & respond immediately as appropriate to any hazardous condition\/act.
\nRepair alternator, starter, and DC circuit in all heavy equipment.
\nAdvise management on whether the continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
\nParticipate in continuous improvement by innovative ideas helping in waste elimination.<\/p>\n
Qualifications Required:<\/p>\n
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills Required:<\/p>\n
3-5 years of professional experience preferably gained in Ports and Terminals.
\nExtensive Knowledge of Simens PLC & Simovert Drives system is must with good troubleshooting skill.
\nVery good skills of understanding and reading electrical\/ electronic circuits, drawings.
\nDetailed technical knowledge of critical electrical\/electronic components, measuring instruments and their appropriate maintenance, inspection, and testing.
\nExposure to ZPMC, Kone Cranes, Liebherr would be highly desirable.<\/p>\n
