\nDiamond Trust Bank is inviting qualified candidates to apply for two Branch Manager positions located in\u00a0Dar es Salaam\u00a0and\u00a0Mwanza. The successful candidates will be responsible for achieving branch retail and SME financial targets while ensuring efficient branch operations and high-quality customer service in compliance with financial institution regulations and the guidelines issued by the\u00a0Bank of Tanzania (BOT).<\/p>\n

Job purpose
\nThe role is responsible for meeting branch retail and SME financial targets through a\u00a0first-class sales and service management system within established product programs through the branch, including servicing corporate customers.<\/p>\n
The Branch Manager will work closely with the\u00a0Centralized Operations unit\u00a0to operate and maintain a smooth-running and operationally efficient branch that conforms to financial institution standards and\u00a0BOT regulations, rules, and guidelines issued from time to time.<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities
\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n
Meet all targets for the branch.<\/p>\n
Provide effective customer service.<\/p>\n
Manage the operations and support activities at the branch, including guiding, supporting, motivating, and supervising staff to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in all areas of branch operations.<\/p>\n
Establish and manage effective marketing and business development programs.<\/p>\n
Assess manpower requirements in the form of well-structured operations, job descriptions, and manning levels in the branch.<\/p>\n
Monitor administrative activities in the branch to ensure adequate control and cost-effectiveness in all areas.<\/p>\n
Ensure timely submission of required reports.<\/p>\n
Supervise banking operations.<\/p>\n
Initiate and follow up marketing and deposit mobilization strategies.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nApplicants must meet the following academic qualifications:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree or advanced diploma\u00a0in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or Marketing.<\/p>\n
A\u00a0Master\u2019s degree in related fields\u00a0is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Work experience
\nCandidates must have:<\/p>\n
At least five years of experience, with\u00a0three years in a managerial role.<\/p>\n
Exposure to\u00a0sales or business development.<\/p>\n
