\nWe are looking for a dedicated and professional Maintenance Planner for our Geita site who has the following skills and experience.
\nMaintenance Planner
\nThe Maintenance Planner for undertaking all relevant duties at site level under the supervision of Maintenance Manager to ensure the maintenance plan is up to date and provided weekly, monthly and quarterly plans, enabling works to be performed on mobile equipment in accordance with mining regulations and relevant Capital Standards.
\nLocation:Geita Site, Tanzania.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Responsible for all Maintenance planning functions at site level.
\nAccountable for own day-to-day safety and adherence to all Company safety regulations pertaining to site operations.
\nCo-ordinate the development of mobile maintenance plans, issue maintenance schedules and
\nwork orders for Company mobile fleet.
\nProvide data and feedback to Maintenance Manager
\nAssist in the development of maintenance plans and budgets for the mobile equipment fleet.
\nIn conjunction with the engineering support group, ensure the fleet is maintained to a standard that preserves the integrity of the equipment and does not compromise safe operations.
\nEnsure that Company maintains plans and drawings for mobile equipment.
\nInput date to ensure continuity of the maintenance plan.
\nAssist in ensuring adherence of all work orders to the relevant mining regulations for all work carried out by the maintenance teams.
\nAssist the Maintenance Manager by providing technical advice, data and history
\nPerform other duties as required by management.
\nMake sure the company is 100% compliant with existing policies and national laws.
\nOther duties as directed<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Knowledge & Skills Required:<\/p>\n
Basic knowledge of maintenance planning and equipment maintenance.
\nBasic proficiency in\u00a0Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
\nGood organizational and record-keeping skills.
\nAbility to coordinate maintenance activities with technicians and supervisors.
\nGood communication and teamwork skills.
\nWillingness to learn and develop in maintenance planning.
\nFamiliarity with maintenance management systems is an advantage.<\/p>\n
Training & Education Required:<\/p>\n
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n
Experience Required:<\/p>\n
Proven work experience in Maintenance Planning related role within the drilling \/ mining industry will be an added advantage
\nMinimum of 2-5 years of experience in maintenance
\nExperience working in multinational and culturally diverse environments<\/p>\n
Physical Requirements:
\nMust be fit and able to perform the inherent requirements of the job
