\nWe are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of:
\n1. Procurement Officer (1 Post)
\nPurpose: Support the implementation and execution of the courier strategy for all MCL products. The role involves assisting in courier operations to maximize sales revenue, ensure sustainable business growth, and achieve set targets while maintaining high service standards.
\nMain Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Receives, reviews and approves IPRs within authority limits.
\nGets approval from Section Managers and MD for IPRs above authority.
\nPrepare annual procurement plan and monitor its execution.
\nCoordinate purchases for major expenditure through tender board.
\nNegotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
\nEnsures that IPRs are promptly issued for goods and services and LPO\/FPOS that goods and services ordered are approved.
\nFollow up and ensure that goods and services ordered are actually delivered as per specifications and on-order.
\nMonitor consumption, stock and re-order level.
\nEnsure that all returns, stock, printed waste, miscellaneous disposable assets and materials are sold in accordance with the approved procedure.
\nLiaise with user departments to ensure that all office utilities are readily available and cost effectively used.<\/p>\n
Additional Duties:<\/p>\n
Monitors all insurance matters to ensure adequate cover, settlement of claims and update records.
\nPerform annual supplier\u2019s evaluation and communicate feedback for improvements.
\nManage supplier relationship.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
Academic:\u00a0Basic University Degree in Procurement and Supplies from a Reputable Institution.
\nExperience:\u00a03 \u2013 5 years\u2019 work experience in a similar role in a reputable organization.
\nProfessional:\u00a0Accredited certification of Procurement.<\/p>\n
