It has been a member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 1997 and actively participates in global networks, including the START Network.<\/p>\n<p>Job Summary:<br \/>\nThe Relief and Partnership Coordinator oversee humanitarian response operations and leads the development of partnerships and consortium engagements with INGOs, UN agencies, and other key stakeholders. The role emphasizes high\u2011quality emergency programming, proposal development, donor engagement, and identifying partnership opportunities to enhance Qatar Charity\u2019s humanitarian impact in Tanzania.<br \/>\nJob Responsibilities:<br \/>\nEmergency Response &amp; Humanitarian Programming<\/p>\n<p>Oversee humanitarian needs at the country level, including project management, contingency planning, logistics, and security.<br \/>\nLead rapid needs assessments during emergencies in collaboration with government authorities and local partners.<br \/>\nCoordinate the design and implementation of emergency response projects (food, NFIs, shelter, WASH, health).<br \/>\nEnsure proper targeting of vulnerable groups including women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.<br \/>\nEstablish strategic direction for emergency relief programming in coordination with the program team.<br \/>\nDesign, resource, and implement emergency programs addressing short\u2011\u00a0and long\u2011term needs of crisis\u2011affected communities.<br \/>\nEnsure effective implementation and financial management of relief projects in accordance with QC and donor guidelines.<br \/>\nOversee accountable and transparent distribution of food and NFIs.<br \/>\nEnsure safeguarding and PSEA standards are mainstreamed across all activities.<br \/>\nMaintain functional and accessible beneficiary feedback and complaint mechanisms.<\/p>\n<p>Project Planning, Finance &amp; Reporting<\/p>\n<p>Lead the development of relief proposals, project cards, and budgets in alignment with QC Relief Department (HQ) guidelines.<br \/>\nEnsure proper financial management and compliance with donor regulations.<br \/>\nPrepare and submit monthly and ad\u2011hoc progress reports, including achievements, caseload updates, and impact stories.<br \/>\nProduce assessment reports, situation reports, and distribution and donor reports.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate and updated databases on beneficiaries, distributions, and resource utilization.<br \/>\nDocument lessons learned, best practices, and case studies for knowledge management.<\/p>\n<p>Partnership Development &amp; Consortium Building<\/p>\n<p>Explore, identify, and pursue partnership and consortium opportunities with INGOs and UN agencies.<br \/>\nLead and contribute to proposal writing, concept notes, and program development for joint initiatives.<br \/>\nIdentify donor funding windows suitable for consortium\u2011based emergency and development programming.<br \/>\nFacilitate engagement meetings with partners to explore collaborative programming.<br \/>\nSupport the development of partnership agreements, MOUs, and consortium frameworks.<br \/>\nEnsure QC\u2019s humanitarian priorities are integrated in consortium proposals and discussions.<br \/>\nCoordinate internal alignment on partnership opportunities with field teams and management.<\/p>\n<p>Coordination, Representation &amp; Networking<\/p>\n<p>Represent Qatar Charity in coordination platforms, cluster meetings, joint assessments, and inter\u2011agency forums.<br \/>\nLiaise with government bodies, INGOs, UN agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated humanitarian action.<br \/>\nParticipate in joint assessments, strategy discussions, and multisectoral planning forums.<br \/>\nPromote QC\u2019s relief and partnership work across relevant networks.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Charity\u2019s Core Values and Commitments<\/p>\n<p>Qatar Charity requires its staff and employees to uphold the values and principles delineated in the Qatar Charity Code of Conduct.<br \/>\nQatar Charity implements and rigorously enforces policies pertaining to Beneficiary Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Child Safeguarding, Anti-Workplace Harassment, Fiscal Integrity Anti-Retaliation, and Combating Trafficking in Persons.<br \/>\nQatar Charity is dedicated to ensuring that its staff members are well-suited to work with children and possess the necessary knowledge to uphold and adhere to Qatar Charity\u2019s Safeguarding Policy<br \/>\nAny personal data collected during this recruitment process may be transferred outside the United Republic of Tanzania only in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 and applicable regulations. Cross\u2011border transfers will be undertaken with appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected, and only to jurisdictions that provide adequate data protection standards.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Skills:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Humanitarian Studies, International Relations, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.<br \/>\nMaster\u2019s degree (preferred) in Humanitarian Action, Disaster Management, International Development, or related specialization.<br \/>\nMinimum 3\u20135 years of experience in humanitarian program management, emergency response, or related fields.<br \/>\nExperience in proposal writing, donor engagement, or partnership development with INGOs or UN agencies.<br \/>\nKnowledge of humanitarian standards including Sphere, CHS, and Do No Harm.<br \/>\nProven experience managing emergency response projects in complex or rapid\u2011onset contexts.<\/p>\n<p>Technical Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Strong skills in project design, proposal development, and preparing donor\u2011compliant budgets.<br \/>\nKnowledge of humanitarian coordination, emergency response mechanisms, and cluster systems.<br \/>\nSkills in developing needs assessments, situation reports, and project documentation.<br \/>\nAbility to manage project finances and ensure compliance with guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Data management skills including tracking, reporting, and analysis.<br \/>\nUnderstanding of protection principles, safeguarding, and PSEA integration.<\/p>\n<p>Behavioural &amp; Soft Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship\u2011building skills.<br \/>\nStrong analytical and problem\u2011solving abilities.<br \/>\nAbility to work under pressure in emergency environments.<br \/>\nTeam\u2011oriented mindset with strong coordination abilities.<br \/>\nHigh degree of integrity and professionalism.<br \/>\nCultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse communities.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
