The Territory Manager will act as a strategic enabler, aligning distributor performance with Vodacom\u2019s digital-first vision, ensuring competitive agility, and delivering superior customer experience in a rapidly evolving telecom landscape.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets through effective distributor and dealer engagement.<br \/>\n\u2022 Leverage data analytics to identify high-potential areas and optimize sales strategies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Implement and monitor end-to-end distribution plans to ensure product availability and visibility.<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify and close gaps in the distribution chain, especially in underserved or high-growth zones.<br \/>\n\u2022 Continuously monitor market activities and provide actionable insights to inform pricing, promotions, and channel strategies.<br \/>\n\u2022 Champion digital tools to drive adoption and customer self-service.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure retail execution standards are met, including digital POS systems, pricing integrity, and brand consistency.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support distributor capability building through training, joint field visits, and performance reviews.<br \/>\n\u2022 Embed a performance-driven culture among dealer staff through coaching and recognition.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deliver timely and accurate reports on sales performance, stock levels, and market trends.<br \/>\n\u2022 Use predictive analytics to forecast demand and align supply chain planning.<br \/>\n\u2022 Gather customer feedback from the field to inform product development and service enhancements.<br \/>\n\u2022 Promote inclusive access to Vodacom services, especially in rural and youth segments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with M-Pesa, Technology, and Customer Experience teams to deliver integrated solutions.<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Experience<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 3\u20135 years in telecom\/FMCG sales or distribution management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong understanding of Tanzania\u2019s telecom market and regional dynamics.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven ability to manage channel partners and drive performance in a competitive environment.<br \/>\nCore Competencies<br \/>\n\u2022 Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen.<br \/>\n\u2022 Digital fluency and ability to drive tech adoption in the field.<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and coaching skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Resilience under pressure and agility in fast-paced environments.<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong analytical and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI, CRM tools).<br \/>\nFuture-Focused Additions<br \/>\n\u2022 Sustainability &amp; Inclusion: Promote eco-friendly practices and inclusive access to digital services.<br \/>\n\u2022 AI &amp; Automation Awareness: Stay informed on how AI and automation are reshaping customer engagement and sales operations.<br \/>\nNot a perfect fit?<br \/>\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
