\nWhat you\u2019ll do
\nRole purpose:
\n\u2022Management of projects as per the project management policy and procedure.
\n\u2022Change Control Management in introducing new systems, products & services and processes into the company.
\n\u2022Ensure smooth transfer of knowledge and tools for supporting new products and services introduced in the network from suppliers\/Developers to VTL support teams
\nKey Responsibilities
\n\u2022Ensure proper understanding of project requirements and deliverables.
\n\u2022Ensure that all project deliverables are met as per the agreed timelines and scope. Should delays creep in; proper escalations should be done to ensure that project timelines are not impacted.
\n\u2022Ensure that all dependencies are identified during scoping session and accurately captured in the scope or work document or user requirements specification (URS).
\n\u2022Ensure that the right approach for implementation of a project is deduced and agreed. Thereafter he\/she should ensure that the selected approach is adhered to by the various teams involved in the project.
\n\u2022Ensure that all the necessary training and processes that are essential for supporting the projects, product or service are in place prior going live or existing ones are reviewed to cater for the new service.

\nWho you are
\nCore competencies, knowledge and experience
\n\u2022In possession of adequate knowledge of Project Management
\n\u2022Knowledge of Information technology areas such as PC, servers, systems and applications.
\n\u2022Good understanding of the building blocks in the telecommunication industry.
\n\u2022Sound understanding of business concepts and processes.
\n\u2022Strong problem solving skills
\n\u2022Good interpersonal skills
\n\u2022Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed\/instructed.
\nMust have technical\/professional qualifications:
\n\u2022Minimum a Degree in Computing, Telecommunication or Electronics science and data communication
\n\u2022At least two (2) years\u2019 experience in the IT field or customer care environment.
\n\u2022GSM experience would be advantageous.
\n\u2022Experience in project management is an added advantage as well.
\n\u2022Certification in Project Management will be an added advantage
