\nTo safely operate tractors and grass\u2011cutting equipment to maintain runway, taxiway, and airside vegetation at Mchauru Aerodrome, ensuring safe aircraft operations and compliance with aerodrome standards.
\nROLE\u00a0ACCOUNTABILITIES
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Operate tractor and slasher for grass\u2011cutting and vegetation control.
\nMaintain clear, hazard\u2011free airfield surfaces and report wildlife or debris.
\nPerform pre\u2011operation checks, basic maintenance, and report major faults.
\nKeep records of maintenance activities and areas covered.
\nAdhere to safety protocols, aerodrome regulations, and ISO 45001 requirements.
\nSupport invasive\u2011species control and sustainable vegetation practices.<\/p>\n

\nROLE REQUIREMENTS
\nEducation & Qualification<\/p>\n
Driving school certificate (VETA or recognized institution).
\nForm Four certificate.
\nValid Class G licence.<\/p>\n
Aircraft Marshaller\/Apron Management training (added advantage<\/p>\n
Experience, Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience operating mobile equipment (tractor).
\nAviation industry or airport operations experience preferred.
\nPhysically, mentally, and medically fit<\/p>\n
