Job Purpose
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the control of debtor\u2019s accounts in assigned area, ensuring timely collection of payments through regular customer communication and handling customer queries and claims.
\nSpecific Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Ensures maximum cash flow benefit accrues to the company by continuously liaising with customers to secure payment within the payment term as set by the management.
\nEstimate daily cash flow by liaising with customers and providing accurate details of anticipated collection.
\nAnalyses customer payment when receiving by checking remittance advice for any discrepancies from invoice and ensure all documents for claims deducted have been received.
\nProcess all approved rebates that are received from commercial team and ensure reconciliation is completed
\nEnsure communication with customers so that allocated account is kept within objective.
\nContact customer to discuss erroneous items which have been short paid and resolve this matter to the satisfaction of both parties.
\nProvide courteous and efficient service to the customer by ensuring requests for copying invoices, statement or proof of delivery are handled promptly.
\nChecks allocated accounts and resolve differences to ensure credit due have been passed timeously and all queries are being investigated.
\nProcess credit notes and ensure adjustment note are properly filed
\nEnsure all credit notes relating to specific invoices, short payment or claims are recorded accurately and promptly against the account.
\nA Formal reconciliation must be done for the relevant accounts on an agreed periodic basis Daily, weekly or monthly depending on the account.
\nPrepare and distribute customer sundry Invoice and statements including all relevant supporting documentation (I.e. debit and credit notes)
\nEnsure that all documentation is filed in their respective folder.<\/p>\n
Job Qualification and Experience<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in accountancy\/business administration\/Equivalent
\nNot less than 3 years working experience working in finance environment.
\nDetails process and analytical ability
\nStrong verbal\/ analytical reasoning ability
\nCPA and SAP ERP will be added advantages<\/p>\n
Terms of Service:\u00a0The successful candidate will be engaged on a\u00a0Permanent Contract.
