OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE<\/p>\n
To support mining operations by delivering reliable and safe carpentry services, ensuring infrastructure is maintained to high standards, minimizing downtime, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment
\nROLE\u00a0ACCOUNTABILITIES
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Perform carpentry work (construction, repairs, installations)
\nMaintain wooden structures, formwork, and site facilities
\nSupport maintenance teams with structural work
\nEnsure compliance with safety standards and procedures
\nConstruct and install wooden structures, formwork, and support frameworks.
\nAssist in building temporary and permanent site infrastructure.
\nSelect and prepare appropriate materials and tools for tasks.
\nEnsure efficient use of materials to minimize wastage.
\nAssist in tracking and reporting material requirements<\/p>\n
ROLE REQUIREMENTS

\nEducation & Qualification<\/p>\n
Certificate of secondary education examination (CSEE)
\nVETA qualification grade I or full Technician certificate (FTC) in carpentry works
\nValid Tanzania driver\u2019s license class B& D<\/p>\n
Experience, Knowledge and Skills<\/p>\n
A minimum of five (5) years\u2019 working experience in the Mining Industry, or infrastructure maintenance environments.
\nDemonstrated experience in building maintenance, carpentry fabrications work, doors, windows, partitions, ceilings, roofing timber structures, furniture, interior fittings., drywall, ceiling, flooring and carpentry in industrial environment
\nKnowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods
\nFamiliarity with materials such as timber, boards, and fasteners
\nBasic understanding of construction drawings and measurements
\nKnowledge of tool operation and maintenance
\nUnderstanding of basic structural integrity and load support principles<\/p>\n
