TMHS Group Limited is a locally registered company providing Emergency Medical Services, Waste and Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, both local and international, and Medical Supplies Services. Currently, it is seeking Environmental Laboratory Staff who are self-motivated, committed, and results-driven to work with the company in the Environmental Laboratory under the Waste and Environmental Subsidiary.

\n\u00a0Location:\u00a0Kisarawe Plant
\nReports to:\u00a0WNE Manager
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Sample Log-in & Data Entry:\u00a0Accurately entering client information, sample locations, dates, and required analyses into LIMS.
\nSample Inspection & Preservation:\u00a0Checking sample temperatures (usually\u00a0), ensuring appropriate container types, verifying hold times, and checking for proper chemical preservation.
\nHazardous Materials Handling
\nReceiving and logging samples
\nChecking sample integrity and documentation
\nLabelling and storing samples properly
\nTracking sample status and reporting issues
\nNotifying lab staff of urgent samples
\nHandling sample rejections (wrong labelling, etc.)
\nMaintaining sample storage areas
\nTracking and managing sample disposal
\nGenerating reports on sample status
\nSafely handling potentially hazardous, corrosive, or toxic samples<\/p>\n
Required Skills\u00a0and Qualifications<\/p>\n
Attention to Detail:\u00a0Essential for preventing errors in sample tracking and labelling.
\nOrganizational & Time Management:\u00a0Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced workflows and prioritize urgent samples.
\nTechnical Knowledge:\u00a0Understanding of environmental sampling requirements, EPA methods, and preservation techniques.
\nSafety Awareness:\u00a0Knowledge of standard laboratory practices, safety protocols, and hazardous materials handling.
\nEducation: At least a Hold certificate in Laboratory Sciences and Technology from a recognized university or colleges and has data Entry and Tracking Skills<\/p>\n
Experience:\u00a0Previous experience in a laboratory environment, particularly with sample receiving or handling, is highly desirable.<\/p>\n
Professionalism:\u00a0Maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism.
\nAdaptability: Ability to handle changing priorities, such as system downtimes or high sample volumes.
\nTeam Player:\u00a0Ability to work collaboratively with laboratory analysts and project managers.<\/p>\n
