\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Sample Testing:\u00a0Perform physical, chemical, or microbiological analyses of Air, water, Soil etc.)
\nInstrument Calibration:\u00a0Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipments
\nData Analysis:\u00a0Record and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and precision in reporting.
\nMethod Development:\u00a0Assist with analytical method validation and troubleshooting.
\nDocumentation:\u00a0Maintain meticulous records of experiments, data, and observations in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices)<\/p>\n
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all processes conform to industry, regulatory, and compliance standards for ISO 17025, TBS, NEMC, TMDA, GCLA, etc.)
\nSOP Development:\u00a0Write, review, and update laboratory\u00a0Standard Operating Procedures\u00a0(SOPs) and safety protocols.
\nNon-Conformance Investigation:\u00a0Identify quality gaps, investigate root causes of deviations, and implement corrective\/preventative actions.
\nAuditing:\u00a0Conduct internal audits and monitor laboratory processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
\nTraining & Reporting:\u00a0Train staff on quality procedures and prepare detailed reports for management regarding quality standards.<\/p>\n
Required Skills and Qualifications<\/p>\n
Education:\u00a0At least a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Laboratory Science and Technology or Chemistry, Biology, or related fields from a recognized University or College, alongside proficiency in\u00a0laboratory techniques.
\nExperience:\u00a0Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in QC or QA, is highly desirable (often 1-5+ years).
\nCertifications: Certifications in quality control are an added advantage
\nRegulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO 17025, TBS, GCLA, TMDA, as well as NEMC standards<\/p>\n
Analytical Techniques: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC), mass spectrometry, etc.
\nData Analysis:\u00a0Ability to interpret data, perform statistical process control, and use related software tools.
\nDocumentation:\u00a0Experience in maintaining detailed records within a Quality Management System (QMS).
\nSystem Knowledge:\u00a0Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).<\/p>\n
Attention to Detail:\u00a0Meticulous approach to testing and recording data to ensure accuracy.
\nProblem-Solving:\u00a0Ability to troubleshoot equipment, investigate OOS (Out of Specification) results, and conduct root cause analysis.
\nCommunication:\u00a0Strong verbal and written skills for reporting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\nTeamwork and Independence:\u00a0Capability to work collaboratively or independently, often in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.<\/p>\n
