\nPosition:\u00a0Internal Audit Officer (IAO) \u2013 02 Posts
\nInterest \/ Pre-qualification \/ Job Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Prepare and submit audit reports to the CEO and Group Internal Auditor in a timely manner.
\nConduct internal audits in line with approved audit manuals, policies, and procedures.
\nAnalyse data to identify control weaknesses, fraud, inefficiencies, or non-compliance.
\nPerform operational, financial, and compliance audits.
\nEvaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
\nIdentify and assess risk areas and propose mitigation measures.
\nMaintain proper documentation for all audit activities.
\nEnsure integrity and efficiency of audit operations.
\nLiaise with ASA Tanzania and ASA International audit teams.
\nPrepare monthly consolidated audit reports.
\nConduct field visits (minimum 12 days per month).
\nDevelop risk-based audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.
\nConduct follow-up audits to ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
\nReview branch operations for efficiency, cost control, and adherence to KPIs.
\nEvaluate fraud prevention mechanisms and report suspicious activities.
\nSupport investigations and special audit assignments as required by management.
\nProvide advisory support to management on internal control improvements.
\nEnsure compliance with international internal audit standards and best practices.
\nMaintain audit working papers and ensure proper audit trail documentation.
\nParticipate in system audits (e.g., CBS, DFS) to assess IT control effectiveness.
\nTrain and guide branch staff on internal controls and compliance requirements.
\nAccomplish day to day activities regularly and on time.<\/p>\n
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance or related subjects.
\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA-T) is an added advantage.
\nMinimum 2 years professional experiences as Auditor or relevant role is a MUST.
\nPreferably Experience in working with NGOs\/Financial Institutions\/Banks\/Audit Firm\/Consultancy firm.
\nIn depth knowledge of corporate financial law and financial management practices.
\nProficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).<\/p>\n
