{"id":3484,"date":"2026-04-08T16:00:47","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T16:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/customer-service-representative-sac-at-bayer\/"},"modified":"2026-04-08T16:01:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T16:01:04","slug":"customer-service-representative-sac-at-bayer","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/customer-service-representative-sac-at-bayer\/","title":{"rendered":"Customer Service Representative SAC at Bayer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Customer Service Representative SAC<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo manage the end-to-end customer order cycle for the SSA region, ensuring accurate order processing, efficient logistics coordination and pro-active issue resolution.<br \/>\nThis role is critical in building strong distributor and Key accounts relationships, ensuring compliance with regional trade requirements and supporting the company\u2019s growth strategy in diverse SSA markets.<br \/>\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nInteract with customers (directly and via sales team members)<br \/>\nAct as point of escalation for operational daily requirements providing best in class service and autonomy in business daily operations<br \/>\nOrchestrate the service relationship, acting as primary contact for assigned customer accounts<br \/>\nAnalyze account history, understand the region\u2019s supply needs, help make decisions to optimize orders and product deliveries<br \/>\nProvide information on orders, supply availability, timing, updates on products, programs, etc.<br \/>\nReach out to customers for missing Customer Master data information to process sales orders<br \/>\nSeek customer feedback to track satisfaction level and identify solutions to improve experience<br \/>\nSME \u2013 order flow &amp; systems and reporting<br \/>\nResolve any immediately addressable customer requests<br \/>\nReceive requests from customers and sales team members via unstructured communication (phone, email, etc.)<br \/>\nAddress any immediately resolvable requests (e.g. in order management \u2013 order entry, status check; in order fulfillment \u2013 scheduling, etc, ad-hoc \u2013 product returns, delivery complaints, etc).<br \/>\nManage research, resolution, documentation and communication for complaints &amp; errors (incl. Delivery)<br \/>\nInvolve Customer Operations for resolution of non-immediately resolvable requests<br \/>\nPartner with Commercial \/Supply Chain team \/ Distribution team<br \/>\nInfluence product take and delivery timing to achieve financial targets<br \/>\nProvide overall business update and customer account info (e.g. availability dates, delivery forecast, targets, progress)<br \/>\nMonitor customer prioritization, delivery forecast targets and support product allocation management<br \/>\nConduct training sessions and influence customers to adopt new processes, tools, and systems<br \/>\nIdentify and implement improvements in operational efficiency, customer experience, etc.<br \/>\nCustomer Master Data Management: Creation of new customer accounts on P4S and P08 \u2013 Aligning with master data team to ensure all required documents for customer account creation are sent. Further management of data with amendments or deletion of redundant accounts.<br \/>\nReporting &amp; Visibility (Analytical skills, driving action, proactive and taking initiative)<br \/>\nTake on projects across divisions and Africa<br \/>\nOrder entry optimizing project, customer experience both internal and external<br \/>\nSME (Subject Matter Expert) for SSA on P4S &amp; P08 business<br \/>\nHelp onboard new colleagues, provide function-specific peer-to-peer training<br \/>\nAct as a go to person in onboarding new team members, aiding in provision of all the required systems access and perfect take-off.<br \/>\nRequired Qualifications:<br \/>\nBS\/BA\/Bcom in Business \/ Supply Chain Management, or related fields required; MS\/MBA preferred<br \/>\n5 years of operational experience in Customer Service, Commercial, Logistics, Supply Chain &amp; Administration, incl. managing teams (Strong domain knowledge in agriculture preferred)<br \/>\nKey competencies: customer focus, strategic mindset, results oriented, collaboration, agility, conflict management, decision making, strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, relationship management skills<br \/>\nKnowledge of IT systems and tools, e.g. SAP ERP, Sales Force, EDI preferred<br \/>\nPreferred proficiency in English language; Portuguese\/French speaking will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nAs part of our commitment to inclusion, we want to ensure persons with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodations.
