Activities<\/p>\n
HSEQ<\/p>\n
Ensure deployment of the PATROM rules and Branch standards and local regulations.
\nEnforce\u00a0HSEQ rules and procedures concerning transport activity.
\nQuality Control of products to be within Tanzania quality specifications as per TBS.
\nParticipate in accident\/incident analyses with the HSEQ Manager.
\nImplement the corrective and preventive actions defined following accidents and incidents (in Tanzania or in the group)
\nPut in place controls to prevent fraud during product transport
\nAssist transporters on the implementation of safety management system for transporter<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
FLEET SUPERVISION<\/p>\n
Participate in internal\/external transport audits and manage the follow-up action plan. (SMS, SMT, ICT\u2026)
\nImplement a follow up for the transportation action plan
\nImplement and follow up operations and vehicle inspections (Roadworthiness, Vetting, safe to load)
\nImplement and follow up transportation activity KPIs
\nDetermine size of fleet
\nImplement the corrective and preventative actions defined following accidents and incidents
\nBefore the integration of a new truck into the fleet, manage all the acceptance procedures
\nValidate and communicate the list of approved vehicles
\nCarry out trend analysis of technical anomalies recorded and put forward action plans to reduce them
\nVetting vehicle in the fleet
\nCarry out spot checks on equipments
\nInspect vetting quality
\nValidate and communicate of the list of approved \u00a0vehicles
\nAssess the performance of transporters
\nOptimize the performance of the fleet to reduce transportation costs
\nAct as an interface between transporters, clients and the depots to optimize the delivery flows<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
TRAINING<\/p>\n
Coordinating Drivers training as per PATROM standards, make sure training program (including theory, practical, assessments) prepared and implemented.
\nWork together with transporter to achieve training objectives and make sure training procedure is developed
\nCheck the quality of the training dispense to the drivers
\nMonitor drivers deadlines (Regulatory training, PATROM, Preventative training, medical check etc)
\nValidate and communicate the list of accredited drivers
\nWork together with transporter to prepare and circulate Toolbox meetings topics
\nCarry out spot checks on driver
\nCarry out spot checks on compliance with procedures (depot, station, transporter)
\nTrain safe to load Operators
\nRaise awareness and motivate the team of safe to load about the safety of transport operations.
\nSet up toolbox meetings with drivers and transporters<\/p>\n

Candidate Profile<\/p>\n
\u2013 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or Logistics. Good knowledge and experience of petroleum industry operations.
\n\u2013 Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position. Leadership abilities and be capable of working without supervision.
\n\u2013 Strong adherence to safety policies and regulations.
\n\u2013 Ability to understand complex processes and how they affect information systems.
\n\u2013 Negotiation abilities, rigor, high integrity standards, resistance to stress and ability to anticipate and react quickly.
\n\u2013 Fluent in MS Office.<\/p>\n
