\nPosition:\u00a0Electrical Engineer \u2013 Compliance (1 Post)
\nReporting to:\u00a0Electrical & Instrumentation Manager
\nPlace of Work:\u00a0Nyanza Mine Site, Sengerema District
\nThe role holder has the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Act as the legally appointed Electrical Engineer \u2013 Compliance for the site, ensuring compliance with mining and electrical legislation are adhered to.
\nEnsure that Electrical Works meets site standards as dictated by Tanzania Electricity Rules 1932 and Tanzania Electrical Act 2008.
\nOversee the design, installation, maintenance, and inspection of all electrical systems, including high-voltage distribution, underground cabling, and fixed plant equipment including and up to 11kV.
\nLead the Design and Approve of High Voltage Switching Procedures in line with Site Isolation Procedures.
\nOversee and Ensure Compliance with the Site-Specific High Voltage Safety Management Plan.
\nEnsure that all Power System Protection Settings are current and applicable for all High and Low Voltage Installations where required on Feeders, Incomers and Outgoing Circuit Breakers.
\nLiaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and inspectors to ensure ongoing compliance.
\nMaintain accurate records of electrical inspections, test results, and maintenance schedules.
\nLead incident investigations related to electrical systems and implement corrective actions.
\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to electricians, apprentices, and contractors.
\nReport to Electrical Supervisors\/Senior Personnel any irregularities that may be found during execution of your duties.<\/p>\n
Required Skilled Knowledge
\nQualification:<\/p>\n
Recognized Trade Certificate\/Engineering Diploma\/Degree in Electrical
\nExtensive Experience with Power Distribution including Operation, Maintenance and Reliability
\nEwura Class A or B Electrical Installation Licence<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
More than 5 years experience in mining\/construction industry in Electrical Supervisor or Electrical Compliance roles<\/p>\n
