\nThe key purpose of this role is to operate the packaging process to achieve minimal variability in product quality and maximum throughput whilst minimizing waste.
\nKey outputs and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Packaging process operation
\nMachine operation: start-up, shutdown, running Operation (including waste management)
\nBrand and Pack changes
\nMaintain safe and healthy work environment
\nIn depth cleaning and first level maintenance
\nMonitoring process performance
\nConducting Quality Checks
\nMonitoring production process and control inputs
\nTaking corrective action
\nParticipation in team
\nCommunication with customers and suppliers
\nContributing to problem solving
\nDemonstrated experience in driving commercial decisions in a packaging hall (financial, operational, people)
\nA superior performance track record indicating a disciplined work ethic with passion at maintaining quality
\nDemonstrated understanding of relevant legislation, specifically health and safety and labor legislation
\nVPO routine execution<\/p>\n
Profile:<\/p>\n
Qualification: Diploma\/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
\nTrade Test Mechanical or Electrical
\nAbility to work shifts
\nExperience in working in a packaging process environment
\nAlert and quick to respond to out-of-control situations
\nAttention to detail
\nProblem solving ability<\/p>\n
