\nPosition details
\nJob purpose
\nResponsible for vehicle valuation and vehicle tracker fitment.
\nMain responsibilities of the job<\/p>\n
Inspection of motor vehicle and determination of their estimated market value.<\/p>\n
Diagnose and advise on problems relating to mechanical, electrical and body repairs.<\/p>\n
Determine vehicle road worthiness and road test vehicle accordingly.<\/p>\n
Update daily register on all vehicles valued.<\/p>\n
Regular advice on changes within the automobile industries.<\/p>\n
Assist in dispute resolution on valuations.<\/p>\n
Ensure that installation and concealment of tracking devices in a professionally work approved by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
Ensure that client\u2019s details are correctly captured in the installation form\/ job cards.<\/p>\n
Commence installation only after internal requisition and installation order is properly recorded and approved.<\/p>\n
Ensure completeness of client\u2019s information in the database in control room.<\/p>\n
Test the tracking unit after installation to confirm functionality.<\/p>\n
Ensure the installation areas are properly secured during and after installation.<\/p>\n
Before a client\u2019s vehicle is handed over, ensure that he signs the post installation form to confirm that all is well.<\/p>\n
Ensure that all the client\u2019s information is confidential at all times.<\/p>\n
Any other duty assigned by immediate supervisor.<\/p>\n
Academic and professional requirements<\/p>\n
Minimum diploma or certificate in automotive engineering or its equivalent.<\/p>\n
0-1 year of experience.<\/p>\n
Valid driving license (must).<\/p>\n
Skills and competencies<\/p>\n
Excellent communication skills.<\/p>\n
Have the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders \u2013 customers, external valuers and internal customers (staff).<\/p>\n
Good driving skills and smart drive behavior.<\/p>\n
Have good interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
