\nBASIC PURPOSE
\nTo ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of employee medical services while supporting People & Culture in employee wellbeing, medical administration, and employee relations coordination. The role is primarily responsible for clinic operations and medical support (70%), with a secondary focus on employee wellbeing and People & Culture coordination (30%).
\nThe role is expected to act as a gatekeeper on all employee health matters, ensuring immediate escalation of any potential risks or outbreaks to the Director of People and Culture, while maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring any health conditions impacting fitness for duty are appropriately addressed.
\nThe role is also actively involved in supporting HACCP compliance and food hygiene standards across the Lodge in collaboration with the Hygiene Section, including participation in audits, monitoring of food handler certifications, and promoting high standards of personal hygiene among employees to ensure preventive health and food safety.
\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
\nCLINIC OPERATIONS & MEDICAL SUPPORT (70%)
\n\u2013 Act as first point of contact for all employee medical cases and emergencies
\n\u2013 Respond promptly to medical incidents within accommodations and lodge areas
\n\u2013 Support doctors during consultations, procedures, and treatments
\n\u2013 Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
\n\u2013 Manage medical exams, HACCP, First Aid records
\n\u2013 Ensure compliance with Tanzanian health regulations
\n\u2013 Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene
\n\u2013 Manage pharmacy stock and supplies
\n\u2013 Coordinate with ResortDoc and external stakeholders
\n\u2013 Prepare and submit monthly reports
\nEMPLOYEE WELLBEING & P&C SUPPORT (30%)
\n\u2013 Support employee wellbeing initiatives and health awareness
\n\u2013 Organize medical and First Aid trainings
\n\u2013 Follow up on sick leave and employee wellbeing cases
\n\u2013 Maintain confidentiality of employee information
\n\u2013 Assist with administrative duties and employee records
\n\u2013 Support engagement activities and events
\n\u2013 Assist with transportation coordination where required
\nNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
\nEnsure that the cafeteria, employee entrance and Accommodation areas are clean and orderly. May be required to temporary relocate to Arusha logistics office to help. Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

\n\u2013 Travel may be required, including escorting patients for medical referrals, treatment, or emergency evacuations as part of duty of care.
\n\u2013 The role requires occasionally working outside of standard duty hours, such time will be compensated on a time off (in Lieu) basis, subject to mutual agreement with the People and Culture Manager\/Director.
\n\u2013 Due to the nature of the role, the employee is expected to maintain a level of 24\/7 readiness to respond to calls or attend to medical cases, particularly in emergency situations.
\nKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
