{"id":3599,"date":"2026-04-30T12:02:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T12:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/store-manager-at-gsm\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:02:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T12:02:16","slug":"store-manager-at-gsm","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/store-manager-at-gsm\/","title":{"rendered":"Store Manager at GSM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOB TITLE: STORE MANAGER<br \/>\nREPORTS TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER<br \/>\nKEY JOB PURPOSE<br \/>\nResponsible for Managing P&amp;L and driving sales for the store through efficient store operations, visual merchandizing, customer service delivery, motivation and retention of store personnel and adherence to company standards and policies.<br \/>\nKEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<br \/>\no Maximize the potential of Store Management &amp; Employees through performance management, coaching and identifying development opportunities to ensure all stores are staffed correctly including succession planning &amp; ongoing monitoring of manpower planning.<br \/>\no Champion the brand in stores &amp; create a two-way feedback loop with the brand teams to enhance business performance, including recommendations for promotion or mark down.<br \/>\no Build external networks to understand market trends &amp; competitor activity that once fed back into central teams allows us to maintain a competitive advantage.<br \/>\no Contribute to all aspects of business development including new store openings &amp; recommendations for closure.<br \/>\no Liaise with external and internal parties to facilitate. Ensure internal and external customer service is excellent through brand specific &amp; company wide training initiatives.<br \/>\no Fully utilize company reporting systems to monitor brand performance &amp; implement corrective action when necessary.<br \/>\no Handle the day-to-day operations in the mall, ensuring operations are kept up to the highest quality standards to meet all tenant and customer requirements.<br \/>\no Coordinate mall team and contractor employee work to oversee daily operations include maintenance etc.<br \/>\no Identify &amp; inform Management of any health &amp; safety risk related to the mall building that may affect employees, contractors &amp; the public.<br \/>\no Manage tenants\u2019 shops operational compliance (i.e., shop appearance, merchandise, trading hours, waste removal, signage, etc.) through regular audits, surprise visits, etc. Rectify any non-compliance through official warning, lease contractual penalties, as required.<br \/>\nQUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<br \/>\no Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Business Administration or a related field<br \/>\no Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a store manager or supervisory role in an apparel store<br \/>\no Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.<br \/>\no Preferred age range 25-35 years<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
