\nWe are pleased to announce an open vacancy for the position of\u00a0Senior Internal Auditor \u2013 Hospital\u00a0at Turkys Group.
\nThe Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of financial controls, operational procedures, compliance systems, and risk management processes within the hospital. The role ensures that all hospital operations, financial activities, procurement processes, inventory management, and administrative functions are conducted in compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and industry standards.
\nThe Senior Internal Auditor will conduct independent audits across hospital departments, identify control weaknesses and operational risks, recommend corrective actions, and support management in strengthening governance and accountability. The position requires strong analytical abilities, integrity, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of healthcare operations and auditing practices.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across hospital departments.
\nReview billing systems, procurement procedures, payroll, inventory, and cash management processes.
\nEvaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of financial or operational risk.
\nEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and statutory requirements.
\nPrepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
\nMonitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on outstanding issues.
\nAssist in fraud prevention, risk assessment, and internal control improvement initiatives.
\nAnalyse financial records, operational data, and departmental procedures to detect irregularities or inefficiencies.
\nSupport external auditors and regulatory inspections when required.
\nMaintain confidentiality and uphold professional ethical standards at all times.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
\nProfessional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
\nMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in auditing, preferably within healthcare or hospital operations.
\nStrong knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and healthcare compliance standards.
\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital\/accounting management systems.
\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments effectively.<\/p>\n
