\nStanbic Bank Tanzania is seeking a\u00a0Senior Manager, Trade & Balance Sheet Solutions\u00a0to drive the sales strategy and execution for trade finance and working capital products with the aim of achieving significant revenue growth.
\nThe successful candidate will serve as the primary sales champion for all trade and working capital solutions, including:<\/p>\n
Letters of credit
\nGuarantees
\nSupply chain finance
\nInvoice discounting<\/p>\n
This role requires a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in order to effectively position the bank\u2019s trade finance and working capital offerings.
\nThe Senior Manager will be responsible for originating, structuring, and closing complex deals, while building strong client relationships and working closely with product teams and other internal stakeholders. The role will also involve delivering tailored solutions to a diverse client base in Tanzania and across key economic corridors.
\nQualifications
\nRequired Qualification<\/p>\n
First degree in one of the following fields:<\/p>\n
Finance
\nEconomics
\nBusiness Administration
\nA related field<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
Master\u2019s degree is strongly preferred
\nTrade finance certifications are preferred, including:<\/p>\n
CDCS
\nCSDG
\nCTFP<\/p>\n
Experience Required
\nSolutioning and Transaction Banking Experience
\nThe ideal candidate should have\u00a08\u201310 years of experience\u00a0in a client-facing sales or business development role within transaction banking, corporate banking, or financial services, with a specific focus on trade finance and working capital products.
\nThe candidate should also have\u00a08\u201310 years of experience\u00a0demonstrating the following:<\/p>\n
Advanced understanding of the functional area and a competent understanding of the overall Corporate & Investment Banking business and competitive environment.
\nBroad knowledge across more than one discipline.
\nAbility to contribute to the development of client experience strategies and execute them through bespoke client engagements.
\nAbility to partner with other providers to enhance and support the client experience.
\nProven track record of identifying and implementing alternative or multiple solutions across a single market, contributing to market growth.
\nKnowledge of the macro context and ability to work across multiple jurisdictions.
\nAbility to assimilate and apply knowledge to identify, plan, and develop solutions for multiple clients.
\nUnderstanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and audit requirements within relevant geographies.
\nAbility to provide guidance and support to team members and sales teams.
\nAbility to identify improvements and apply them to simplify solutioning processes.
\nAbility to partner closely with solutioning and other teams to ensure the evolving client context influences solutions.
\nAbility to use insights from industry, market, and clients to inform ESG initiatives and approaches aligned with client values and needs.<\/p>\n
