\nZambia Cargo and Logistics Limited (ZCL) is a regional logistics service provider and wholly owned by the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) with terminals in Tanzania (Dar es Salaam), Walvis Bay (Namibia) and operating centre in Ndola, Zambia.
\nZambia Cargo and Logistics (ZCL) is inviting applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to be considered for employment to fill vacant positions listed hereunder:
\nCommercial & corporate affairs officer \u2013 1 post
\n(A) Required qualification<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
\n2-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
\nExperience with digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management is beneficial.<\/p>\n
(B) Attributes<\/p>\n
Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and social media management
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills
\nProficiency in marketing software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
\nCreative thinking and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
(C) Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media
\nCoordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and campaigns
\nMonitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvement
\nCreate and manage content for marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, websites, and social media
\nEnsure that all content aligns with the company\u2019s brand guidelines and messaging strategy
\nCollaborate with the design team to develop visually appealing marketing assets
\nConduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends
\nAnalyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform marketing strategies.
\nGather and interpret data to support the development of marketing plans and campaigns
\nManage the company\u2019s social media profiles and online presence, including content scheduling and engagement.
\nAssist in the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management and performance tracking
\nOptimize digital marketing efforts through SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing techniques.
\nAssist in the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and promotional activities
\nCoordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery
\nManage event logistics, including registration, setup, and post-event follow-up
\nSupport customer engagement initiatives, including customer surveys, feedback collection, and loyalty programs
\nWork with the sales team to develop and implement customer retention strategies
\nRespond to customer inquiries and feedback through various communication channels
\nPrepare reports on marketing activities, including campaign performance, market research findings, and customer feedback
\nUtilize marketing analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts
\nProvide insights and recommendations to the marketing manager based on data analysis
\nAssist with the preparation of marketing budgets and forecasts
\nManage marketing-related documentation, including contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
\nSupport the marketing manager with other administrative tasks as needed.<\/p>\n
