\nRole purpose
\nWe are looking for a\u00a0System Administrator\u00a0who will ensure that charging systems and their integrated components operate efficiently. The role involves maintaining infrastructure, including servers, storage, and software systems, to ensure they operate reliably, securely, and at peak performance.
\nKey accountabilities and decision ownership
\nSystem maintenance<\/p>\n
Execute and automate daily system health checks.
\nEnsure service and system availability is maintained at\u00a099.999%.
\nQuickly identify faulty systems or potential failures.
\nRecommend proactive and preventive fixes before problems occur.<\/p>\n
Security and monitoring<\/p>\n
Monitor system performance regularly.
\nImplement security measures to prevent breaches.
\nConduct regular security testing.<\/p>\n
Data backup and recovery<\/p>\n
Establish and manage automated backups.
\nEnsure data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities.
\nPlan and execute backup recovery plans.
\nSign off for\u00a0TRP validation.<\/p>\n
User management<\/p>\n
Create, update, and manage user accounts.
\nManage permissions and access rights.
\nAutomate the review process for application, database, and operating system users.<\/p>\n
Troubleshooting<\/p>\n
Analyze customer complaints using available tools.
\nProvide responses within the agreed service level agreement.<\/p>\n
Documentation<\/p>\n
Maintain comprehensive documentation of:<\/p>\n
System configurations
\nProcedures
\nService records<\/p>\n
Test creation and execution<\/p>\n
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
\nEnsure proper testing for all released patches and fixes.
\nEnsure tests are well created for new products and MPS.<\/p>\n
Monitoring and optimization<\/p>\n
Utilize tools such as:<\/p>\n
Prometheus
\nGrafana
\nELK stack<\/p>\n
Ensure carrier-grade performance, scalability, and 24\/7 reliability.<\/p>\n
Customer and vendor support<\/p>\n
Ensure all suppliers provide services as per agreement.
\nEnsure suppliers comply with all policies and company standards.
\nProvide responses to customer queries within the agreed SLA.<\/p>\n
Required skills and qualifications
\nTechnical expertise<\/p>\n
Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
\nExperience with virtualization technologies, including:<\/p>\n
VMware
\nHyper-V<\/p>\n
Knowledge of networking protocols, especially TCP\/IP.<\/p>\n
Cloud and virtualization<\/p>\n
Experience with:<\/p>\n
OpenStack

\nRancher<\/p>\n
Problem-solving and troubleshooting<\/p>\n
Strong troubleshooting skills.

Computer science
\nInformation technology
\nBusiness information technology
\nTelecommunication engineering<\/p>\n
2 to 5 years of working experience\u00a0in a Linux-based environment and cloud-based platform.<\/p>\n
Automation and scripting<\/p>\n
Experience with scripting languages for automation, such as:<\/p>\n
PowerShell
\nBash<\/p>\n
Ability to work with low supervision<\/p>\n
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
\nAbility to meet strict deadlines.<\/p>\n
