\nHaven of Peace Academy
\nHaven of Peace Academy (HOPAC) is a faith-based educational institution owned and operated by Haven of Peace Trust. HOPAC was founded in 1994 for children of missionaries and has evolved into a Christian international school with a diverse student population that includes children of missionaries and full-time Christian service workers, children of expats working in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, and children of Tanzanians working in the non-profit, for-profit, and public sectors.
\nThe school is located in Kunduchi at the junction of Salasala Road and Bagamoyo Road in Kinondoni Municipal in Dar es Salaam and is currently inviting applications for vacancies of competent, experienced and qualified teachers and school personnel.

English as a second Language (ESL Teacher)<\/p>\n
Job summary
\nThe ESL Teacher will create a supportive, Christ-centered learning environment that helps English Language Learners develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills across Kindergarten to Grade 12.
\nThe role includes:<\/p>\n
Planning differentiated instruction
\nAssessing and monitoring student progress
\nCollaborating with classroom teachers
\nMaintaining an organized and engaging classroom
\nIntegrating technology to support learning
\nCommunicating effectively with parents and school leadership<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will actively support the school\u2019s evangelical Christian ethos and participate in staff meetings, prayer times, and professional development activities.<\/p>\n
Ideal candidates for all positions will be self-motivated, team players, adaptable, and willing to learn with experience working in multicultural, international settings, and fluent in English.
\nHOPAC follows the Cambridge curriculum and is an ACSI\/MSA accredited school.
\nRequired qualifications and experience for ESL Teacher<\/p>\n
A committed evangelical Christian who models Christ-centered living.
\nFluency in spoken and written English.
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
\nMinimum of three (3) years of teaching experience, preferably with English Language Learners.
\nTraining or certification in ESL\/EAL\/TESOL (preferred).
\nStrong understanding of language acquisition and differentiated instruction strategies.
\nBasic proficiency in word processing and educational technology.<\/p>\n
