This includes full ownership of the\u00a0Marketing Business Plan (MBP)\u00a0\u2014from planning and budgeting to execution and performance tracking.<br \/>\nRole Dimensions:<\/p>\n<p>Financial Accountability (Budget\/Revenue):<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Deliver volume, revenue and profitability targets<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor market share and competitor activity and relevant marketing investment spend<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRole Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nStrategic &amp; MBP Leadership:\u00a0Own and drive the Marketing Business Plan (MBP), setting brand direction and ensuring delivery of growth, profitability, and brand equity targets at East African Breweries Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>Cross-Functional &amp; Stakeholder Influence: Lead through influence by aligning internal teams and external partners to deliver strong, consistent in-market execution in a competitive landscape<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nExecution &amp; Performance Ownership:\u00a0Ensure excellence in campaign execution, track performance against key performance indicators, and take accountability for results through data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization<br \/>\nMarketing Business Plan (MBP) Management:<\/p>\n<p>Develop and lead the annual MBP aligned to business objectives<br \/>\nDefine brand growth targets (volume, revenue, market share)<br \/>\nIdentify key consumer segments and growth opportunities<br \/>\nManage and optimize A&amp;P (Advertising &amp; Promotion) budgets<br \/>\nTrack, analyze, and report MBP performance against critical metrics<br \/>\nAdjust strategies based on in-market performance and insights<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nBrand Strategy &amp; Development:<\/p>\n<p>Define and maintain brand positioning and identity<br \/>\nBuild long-term brand equity and differentiation<br \/>\nLead innovation pipeline (new products, packaging, variants)<br \/>\nEnsure consistency across all consumer touchpoints<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nCampaign Planning &amp; Execution:<\/p>\n<p>Develop and implement coordinateded marketing campaigns (ATL, BTL, Digital)<br \/>\nLead creative development with agencies<br \/>\nDrive consumer engagement through activations and experiences<br \/>\nEnsure excellence in execution across channels<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nStakeholder &amp; Cross-Functional Management:<\/p>\n<p>Collaborate with:<\/p>\n<p>Sales (trade execution)<br \/>\nFinance (budget control &amp; return on investment tracking)<br \/>\nSupply Chain (product availability)<br \/>\nExternal agencies (creative, media, digital)<\/p>\n<p>Ensure alignment on brand priorities and execution plans<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nSkills and Experience:<br \/>\nQualifications:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, or related field<br \/>\n6\u201310 years\u2019 experience in FMCG\/consumer marketing<br \/>\nTried experience in brand management and campaign execution<br \/>\nExperience running budgets and delivering business results<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Skills &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Critical thinking and planning<br \/>\nFinancial competence and budget management<br \/>\nStrong analytical and data interpretation skills<br \/>\nConsumer insight development<br \/>\nProject and collaborator management<br \/>\nCreativity and innovation mentality<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nFlexible Working Statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nFlexibility is key to our success.
