\nRole summary
\nThe successful candidates will support early childhood learning and development, strengthen pupils\u2019 academic performance and spoken English communication, and maintain a safe, caring, and active learning environment for children.
\nKey responsibilities
\nThe day care teachers will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Teaching and caring for young children using learner-centred teaching methods.
\nSupporting the emotional, social, and cognitive development of pupils.
\nMaintaining child safety, hygiene, discipline, and wellbeing.
\nPreparing classroom learning materials and teaching aids.
\nStrengthening spoken English communication among pupils.
\nConducting learner assessments and preparing progress reports.
\nSupervising pupils during meals, playtime, and learning activities.
\nPromoting active learning and classroom participation.
\nSupporting school performance improvement initiatives.
\nAssisting in maintaining a clean, organised, and child-friendly classroom environment.
\nSupporting communication between the school and parents where necessary.
\nPromoting professionalism, teamwork, and positive behaviour among pupils.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and requirements
\nApplicants should meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n
Certificate, diploma, or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
\nStrong spoken and written English communication skills.
\nComputer literacy is important.
\nGood classroom management abilities.
\nExperience in day care or pre-primary education is an added advantage.
\nStrong passion for child development and early learning.
\nAbility to work under minimum supervision.
\nGood interpersonal and teamwork skills.
\nHigh level of responsibility, patience, and professionalism.<\/p>\n
