full-year short-term plan, including revenue and balance sheet growth across assets and liabilities.<br \/>\nThe role also involves active use of Salesforce for pipeline management and call report logging, supporting client engagement, improving service delivery, managing client surveys and complaints, and helping Absa become the preferred banking partner for clients.<br \/>\nKey support business growth, income management, client utilization of banking channels, and portfolio performance.<br \/>\nDigital channel uptake and utilization<\/p>\n<p>Drive client uptake and utilization of digital channels, including:<\/p>\n<p>AAO<br \/>\nGePG<br \/>\nBulk mobile disbursements<br \/>\nOther relevant digital banking channels<\/p>\n<p>Income opportunities and pipeline management<\/p>\n<p>Identify income opportunities through service engagements.<br \/>\nMonitor the sales pipeline on Salesforce.<br \/>\nConduct qualitative analysis of MYMI data for income management, including:<\/p>\n<p>Drops in income<br \/>\nAccount dormancy<br \/>\nDecrease in transaction volumes<br \/>\nIncome leakage<br \/>\nCorrect implementation of pricing<\/p>\n<p>Liabilities Relationship Manager in winning primary banker mandates.<br \/>\nEmpower colleagues to take ownership and deliver quick turnaround times.<br \/>\nEnsure quality service delivery and work to reduce incidents, queries, and complaints.<\/p>\n<p>Shadow revenue monitoring<br \/>\nMonitor shadow revenue targets in areas such as:<\/p>\n<p>Foreign exchange<br \/>\nCard acquiring<br \/>\nOther retail and business banking income streams<\/p>\n<p>Excess management<\/p>\n<p>Manage excesses with clients and identify appropriate solutions after analysis.<br \/>\nAddress excesses proactively through the credit review process or similar mechanisms.<br \/>\nEnsure excess management actions are completed by 10:00 a.m.<br \/>\nManage settlement limits to support business-as-usual efficiencies.<br \/>\nClose dormant accounts where required.<br \/>\nProvide excess management responses.<br \/>\nIdentify trends and use them in discussions with Credit.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance and documentation<\/p>\n<p>Adhere to the clean desk policy.<br \/>\nComply with the Chinese wall and confidentiality policies.<br \/>\nEnsure client drawdown, repayment, and security maintenance documents are submitted on time to RCU for processing, except for LC requests.<br \/>\nPrepare and submit relevant documents to auditors for reviews and medium-risk reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Client and customer responsibilities \u2013 30%<br \/>\nThe role requires strong client engagement, high-quality service delivery, proper documentation, and end-to-end support across onboarding, credit, account maintenance, and complaint management.<br \/>\nClient engagement<\/p>\n<p>Ensure client engagement sessions are conducted at a high standard.<br \/>\nEngage clients through:<\/p>\n<p>Face-to-face visits<br \/>\nTelephone calls<br \/>\nMicrosoft Teams<br \/>\nVideo conferencing<\/p>\n<p>Client service planning<\/p>\n<p>Client service engagements must be properly planned with clear agenda items and deliverables.<\/p>\n<p>Provide a call report for each client service engagement.<br \/>\nDocument each engagement in Salesforce.<br \/>\nEnsure engagements include relevant Assistant Relationship Manager focus areas.<\/p>\n<p>Key Assistant Relationship Manager focus areas<br \/>\nClient engagements should cover any of the following five focus areas:<\/p>\n<p>Client onboarding<br \/>\nCredit<br \/>\nProduct collaboration<br \/>\nSecurity management<br \/>\nIncome management<\/p>\n<p>Annual client engagement schedule<\/p>\n<p>Provide and commit to a schedule of clients to be engaged during the year.<\/p>\n<p>Credit process ownership<\/p>\n<p>Take ownership of the credit process from credit approval stage to drawdown.<br \/>\nFollow up with RCU to ensure conditions precedent are completed on time.<br \/>\nEnsure drawdown is achieved within the required service-level agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Account opening and maintenance<br \/>\nPerform the maker role in the account opening and maintenance process, including:<\/p>\n<p>Completing KYC documents gathered from clients.<br \/>\nVetting customer mandates.<br \/>\nCompleting input forms.<br \/>\nConducting customer screening.<br \/>\nScanning documents in Sybrin.<br \/>\nCapturing data on e-box.<\/p>\n<p>Securities maintenance<\/p>\n<p>Provide post-sanctioning support for securities maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Client call targets<\/p>\n<p>Achieve a minimum of six face-to-face client calls per month.<br \/>\nEnsure all calls are captured in Salesforce.<br \/>\nEnsure 50% of the calls are conducted with the Relationship Manager or a product partner.<\/p>\n<p>Client onboarding support<\/p>\n<p>Support the Relationship Manager to achieve five new-to-bank clients per Relationship Manager through account opening.<\/p>\n<p>Complaint management<\/p>\n<p>Proactively respond to, manage, and resolve client complaints.<br \/>\nTake ownership of complaints and deliver quick turnaround times.<br \/>\nMaintain quality service and reduce the number of incidents, queries, and complaints.<\/p>\n<p>Client migration<\/p>\n<p>Monitor the migration of clients after approval.<br \/>\nEnsure the correct process has been followed.<br \/>\nSupport a positive client experience during the transition.<\/p>\n<p>Service engagement evidence<br \/>\nUse service engagement evidence from:<\/p>\n<p>2025 client survey<br and control objectives \u2013 5%<br \/>\nThe role requires strict adherence to Absa Bank Tanzania policies, regulatory expectations, and internal risk management standards.<br \/>\nKey risk and control responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Adhere to Absa Bank Tanzania policies and procedures applicable to the role.<br \/>\nDemonstrate sound judgement and responsible risk management.<br \/>\nTake
