\nJob purpose
\nThe key purpose of the\u00a0Technical Trainee: Quality role is to support the acquisition of technical skills and practical experience for graduates, while familiarizing them with the company\u2019s culture and principles.<\/p>\n
The role is part of an\u00a018-month structured programme designed to ensure that, upon completion, the trainee can be allocated an area of responsibility immediately.
\nProgramme overview
\nThe traineeship is primarily a hands-on, self-study programme. The trainee is expected to gain a full understanding of the theory, principles, and operation of equipment across various departments.
\nThe programme combines technical learning, practical exposure, project participation, leadership opportunities, and business communication to prepare graduates for future responsibility within the organization.
\nKey roles and responsibilities
\nTechnical learning and hands-on training
\nThe trainee will be expected to:<\/p>\n
Gain a full understanding of the theory, principles, and operation of equipment across various departments.
\nParticipate in a hands-on, self-study programme.
\nDevelop technical skills and practical experience throughout the 18-month training period.
\nApply learning directly in the workplace.<\/p>\n
Project participation
\nThe trainee will participate in projects that are aligned with:<\/p>\n
Programme requirements.
\nBrewery priorities.
\nBusiness needs and improvement opportunities.<\/p>\n
Operational excellence and problem solving
\nThe trainee will be required to:<\/p>\n
Apply VPO principles.
\nDiagnose systemic and situational problems.
\nConduct troubleshooting.
\nIdentify practical solutions to operational challenges.
\nCommunicate learnings and solutions across various levels of the business.<\/p>\n
Team participation and leadership exposure
\nThe trainee will participate in team structures and may be required to take on acting roles in identified leadership positions within the department.

Minimum requirements
\nApplicants must meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n
Bachelor of Science in one of the following fields:<\/p>\n
Chemistry
\nFood Science and Technology
\nMicrobiology
\nAn equivalent qualification<\/p>\n
Maximum of one year of full-time formal working experience.
\nGeographical mobility, with willingness to move to different locations during the 18-month training programme and after completion.
\nWillingness to relocate throughout the candidate\u2019s career.
\nFull proficiency in English.
\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
\nAbility to quickly adapt to new systems.
\nAmbitious, curious, bold, and resilient personality.
\nDetermination to deliver results.
\nStrong sense of ownership.
\nDesire to make an impact.<\/p>\n
