Education requirements
\nApplicants should have the following qualifications:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
\nProfessional certifications such as CPSP, CIPS, or an equivalent procurement qualification will be an added advantage.
\nKnowledge of procurement laws, inventory management, and contract management is preferred.<\/p>\n
Relevant work experience
\nApplicants should have the following experience:<\/p>\n
Minimum of 4\u20136 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing operations.
\nExperience in handling group or multi-unit procurement activities within a large organization.
\nStrong knowledge of supplier sourcing, negotiation, tendering, and contract management.
\nExperience working with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, or procurement management systems.
\nGood understanding of importation procedures, logistics coordination, and inventory control.
\nProven ability to manage vendor relationships and procurement records efficiently.<\/p>\n
Core responsibilities
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:<\/p>\n
Coordinate procurement activities for all company departments and business units.
\nSource reliable suppliers and negotiate favourable prices, terms, and contracts.
\nPrepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
\nMonitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
\nEnsure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
\nEvaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
\nCoordinate tendering and quotation processes to ensure competitive purchasing.
\nTrack deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
\nMaintain accurate procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
\nWork closely with finance, logistics, and departmental teams to support operational needs.
\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
\nEnsure quality standards are met for all procured goods and services.
\nSupport importation and logistics processes when required.
\nPerform any other duties assigned by management related to procurement and supply chain operations.<\/p>\n
