The role involves promoting bank products and services, developing customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Type of Qualification: First Degree<br \/>\nField of Study:\u00a0Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Actively source, engage, and acquire new customers through field visits, referrals, and networking.<br \/>\nPromote and sell the bank\u2019s products and services (e.g., accounts, loans, deposits, insurance, cards, etc)<br \/>\nConduct product presentations, explain features and benefits, and address customer queries.<br \/>\nEnsure completion of account opening forms and documentation in compliance with KYC and regulatory requirements.<br \/>\nAchieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as assigned.<br \/>\nProvide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.<br \/>\nMaintain strong relationships with customers for retention and cross-selling opportunities.<br \/>\nRepresent the bank professionally in all customer interactions.<br \/>\nDevelop business opportunities by following up leads generated.<br \/>\nConduct cold calling in a planned manner, focusing on potential high value prospects.<br \/>\nProactively identify and follow-up on new business in order to increase market share.<br \/>\nMarket and provide information on the Personal Banking product to customers.<br \/>\nFollow-up on sales to ensure that customer needs have been met.<br \/>\nProvide additional information to ensure support on the products and identify problems.<br \/>\nSuccessfully hand over customer relationships to the Personal Banker, Branch Manager and business development managers under employee value banking (EVB).<br \/>\nEnsure that all service level agreements are complied and keep abreast of changes in this regard.<br \/>\nAttend to all enquiries that may arise from the client, Credit or at Branch level.<br \/>\nConduct a needs analysis to identify customer needs effectively when opening new accounts or giving product advice, in line with guidelines and product requirements<\/p>\n<p>Behavioural Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Articulating Information<br \/>\nChecking Things<br \/>\nDocumenting Facts<br \/>\nExamining Information<br \/>\nFollowing Procedures<br \/>\nInteracting with People<br \/>\nMeeting Timescales<br \/>\nProducing Output<br \/>\nTaking Action<br \/>\nTeam Working<br \/>\nThinking Positively<br \/>\nUpholding Standards<\/p>\n<p>Technical Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>Bookkeeping<br \/>\nData Management (Administration)<br \/>\nReconciling Financial Records<br \/>\nRecords and Archive Management<br \/>\nWritten Communication<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
