One of our NGO clients has engaged Brilliance Executive Management Consultancy Limited (BEMCONSULT) to recruit targeting candidates from Zambia’s NGO sector with WASH project experience.
Job Purpose
The Project Engineer will lead the preparation and development of tender documents for technical works, lead operation and maintenance planning and implementation, and supervise works.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Advise on tendering requirements and specifications for hardware works
Develop O&M Plans and modules
Lead training of Village Management Committees, Care Takers and Pump Menders in O&M
Coordinate financial training and record keeping for VMCs’ O&M activities
Supervise project construction works
Advise the Project Committee and Programme Committee on technology standards to adopt and practices to apply

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering preferably civil engineering
Must have at least a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in water and civil engineering
Must have proven water engineering experience in WASH projects with an international NGO
Must be a member of EIZ
