    Job Purpose
    The Finance Manager will be fully responsible for managing the finance department for the group. Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board’s Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary. The Finance Manager will also develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities;

    Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
    Responsible for producing monthly management accounts showing spending against budget.
    Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues
    Responsible for producing quarterly finance reports for CEOs’ reports
    Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
    With consultation from procurement maintain office supplies by supplying stationery requirements etc to a responsible member of staff
    Liaises with banks, Regional Accountants, Customers, other staff and clients.
    Conduct a weekly review of timesheets and accountability diaries against expenses claims.
    Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
    Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
    Prepare financial management reports
    Develop and maintain financial databases
    Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process
    Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
    Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data
    Other duties as identified by the CEO are commensurate with this post.

    Job Responsibilities:
     

    Understand and execute accountabilities of legal appointment under Zambian Mining Regulations;
    The role has direct equipment accountability from the flotation feed surge tanks, discharge to the concentrate storage sheds, and to the tailings thickener feed-box, including ancillary equipment and area specific services & utilities;
    Comply with site HSE standards and procedures;
    Investigate all appropriate equipment related Safety and Environmental incidents and implement actions;
    Identify and prioritise plant housekeeping efforts and ensure tasks are actioned;
    Consistently deliver and exceed the main KPI’s of reagent dosing systems capability and reliability, flotation stage capability, concentrate filtration capability and reliability, ancillary equipment reliability and concentrate quality;
    Oversee daily operations of the flotation equipment to ensure optimised plant utilization and compliance to operating procedures, strategies & instructions;
    Monitor, control and report on plant equipment status, performance indicators, plant activities, operational shortfalls and corrective actions;
    Issue Daily Operating Instructions to shift teams on key equipment and operational parameters, tasks and considerations;

     
    Job Specific Competencies:

    Attend morning shift supervisor handover meetings, clarify plant status, and challenge Shift Supervisors on performance against operating systems compliance and delivery of instructions;

    Manage and define work plans for cleaning contractors and/or mobile equipment (both hired and FQM owned);
    Identify, prioritise and justify capital improvement projects;

    2.0. EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
    MISA Zambia is seeking to engage the services of a consultant to produce open-source templates, guides and bite-sized learning materials on media and digital rights, accessible online to all network members to support self-directed and peer-to-peer learning beyond the project.
    3.0. OBJECTIVE OF THE CONSULTANCY
    The objective is to produce multi-media content on media and digital rights, accessible online to all network members to support self-directed and peer-to-peer learning during the 2026 general elections and beyond.
    4.0. SCOPE OF WORK
    The consultant will design, produce and package high-quality, accessible and adaptable media content to support the co-development of open-source learning resources on media and digital rights. The work will prioritize usability, inclusivity and relevance to diverse media practitioners and stakeholders.
    The duties are not limited to the following;
    1.    Content Production;
    Ø Audio snippets/podcasts
    Ø Infographics and visual explainers
    Ø Videos (bite-sized learning clips)
    Ø audio/visuals with messages on elections
    Ø Mentorship for MISA Zambia staff
    5.0. DELIVERABLES

    Ø 4 mentorship session on multi-media production
    Ø  Open-source learning resources with multi-media formats on freedom of expression, media freedom and digital rights during elections.
    6.0. TIMEFRAME
    Ø The consultancy will be carried out from April 2026.
    7.0. INSTITUTIONAL ARRANGEMENTS
    MISA Zambia shall be responsible for the coordination of meetings and other activities under the Consultancy.
    8.0. EXPERIENCE
    The ideal consultant should have;
    Ø Proven experience in digital rights or media freedom
    Ø Proven experience in media production
    Ø Solid understanding of Zambia’s media landscape
