The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and market share. The role involves managing sales operations, overseeing marketing campaigns, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Senior Sales and Marketing Officer will report to the Commercial Manager and will have a Sales and Marketing Officer reporting to them.
\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
\nOversee the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
\nManage and mentor the Sales and Marketing Officer to ensure team effectiveness.
\nConduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.
\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
\nPlan and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.
\nMonitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies.
\nPrepare and present sales and marketing reports to the Commercial Manager.
\nEnsure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
\nCollaborate with internal departments to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business goals.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
Grade 12 Certificate with five (5) O Levels.
\nDiploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
\nProfessional membership with the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM).
\nMinimum five (5) years of work experience in a similar position.<\/p>\n
